I have been taking my son to see Dr. Kunins for the past year as we have been through a lot due to being victims of domestic violence from my x-boyfriend. Dr. Kunins stopped the dangerous medication started by the psych hospital and started a much safer more helpful one. Since then my son has been doing so much better with our relationship and he is getting the best grades that he has ever gotten since seeing Dr. Kunins. The reason that I decided to share my experience is because when I brought my son in last week for a visit, Dr. Kunins got on the floor with my son to interact with him using puppets making my son laugh which is something that I've been waiting a long time to hear. This made my heart melt as I could sense how much Dr. Kunins really cares about his patients. Dr. Kunins is a very intelligent and compassionate doctor and we are so very blessed to have found him!!!

This Dr. listened to my concerns, took the time to explain to me my options and helped me through the hardest time in my life. Thank you Dr. Kunins....I have my life back!!!

I had taken my 7 year old son to other doctors but he never got to see the real doctor just the assistant who gave him the wrong diagnosis and medicines that caused really bad side effects. Dr. Kunins stopped those medicines and carefully explained the best way to treat my son in a way that made sense and I can understand, no big medical words. He was 100% right and my son is no longer angry and is now getting excellent grades and he is so much happier. I feel inspired to share this today because we just saw Dr. Kunins yesterday and he got on the floor to play puppets and interact with my son and he made my son laugh, something my son didn't do for a long time. This made my heart melt as I sensed how much he loves children. Dr. Kunins is one of the most intelligent and compassionate doctors to ever exist, my son and I are so blessed to have found him!!!

The doctor was able to get my son off of all the unsafe medications that he was taking which turned out that he did not need. He started a much better medicine and my son is now much happier and proud of how well he's doing in school and is now making friends. This doctor is the nicest and smartest doctor we have ever met and took the time to explain everything to us in a way that made sense and was easy to understand!!

I felt obliged to respond to entirely inaccurate comment below. I am a single mother who has been trying to get help for my son for years. Dr. Kunins spent over an hour with us, spoke directly to my teenage son in a way that was direct, honest, and made sense to my stubborn son. Before seeing Dr. Kunins I felt like I had lost my son. Dr. Kunins encouraged my son to stop using drugs and also stopped the dangerous drugs that his previous psychiatrist was giving him. After years of trying to find help for my son I finally have him back. He is now an honor roll student and proud of his success and happier than I've ever seen him. I am so grateful for the help we received from Dr. Kunins!!!
