Dr. Craig Andrew Maier, MD

Good for a number of years; however recently seemed disinterested and bored. Identified chronic pain issues as related to allergies w/ no testing recommended. Subsequent testing detected cancer that had metastisized.

Terrible doctor, unreliable staff Owned by radiology group so seems to like to refer to them Very limited medical knowledge Office stuffed with personnel pics that seem to mean much more to him then his patients

Takes as much time as he needs to then moves on. Is thorough, but won’t spend an hour holding your hand.

He WAS my mom's primary care physician. He did nothing about un-explained, unintentional weight loss for well over a year. She was just diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cancer. Had he been even a bit concerned with her well being he would have performed some additional tests to try and determine why she was losing weight. Since her diagnoses 2 months ago I have mentioned this physician to several people and have found many others who share similar experiences. One person lost 64 lbs in 6 months and Dr Maier did nothing about it. It wasn't until he was seen by a different physician within the same group that additional testing was done and it was determined he had a thyroid issue.

Seems to have a 5 minute visit rule before going to the next person.

I just moved to the area last year and needed a primary care doctor. I've seen Dr. Maier a few times and he seems good.
