I did everything I could to avoid hip replacement but came to the conclusion that I had to do it. The only question became “who should I get?” After asking lots of people lots of questions, consulting 3 other surgeons, speaking with at least 5 other hip replacement patients, I ended up in Dr Mcasey’s office. From beginning to end it was a great experience. I made 3 trips to Inova Mt Vernon hospital (first consult, pre-op, surgery) and dealt with at least 10 different staff members. The level of service was excellent every step of the way. Thorough, competent, assuring, respectful, friendly, kind, .....I was blown away by the care. And Dr Mcasey is the man when it comes to hip replacements. I would highly recommend him and the Anderson Clinic at Inova Mt. Vernon.

I am a 40-year old that received a hip replacement and Dr. McAsey was the surgeon. From the first day we met to discuss my options up to the day of the surgery- he was always there to answer every question and explain in detail what the procedure would entail. He truly cares about his patients and will never treat you like a number. I had my 1-month follow-up and so far, everything looks good. God bless you Dr. McAsey!!!

I found Dr. McAsey to be very warm, patient, pleasant and above all, an EXCELLENT surgeon. I had both of my knees replaced(not at the same time) and I am walking better than I have in years.
