Dr. Craig A Mccullough, MD

He is the worse Dr I have ever met. He does not listen and makes some very bad judgement calls. He believes he is better than any specialist out there

One of the best doctors in the Venice area. I was a patient for over 15 years and would not hesitate to recommend him and his excellent staff. His PA (Dee) is awesome also. 5 stars to all.

Dr. McCullough was my internist for several years. He was so cocksure of himself that he failed to send me to a cardiac specialist when prudent. After dropping Dr McCullough for the care of Dr. Corin I eventually regained my health. .

I arrived early and the appointment began before the scheduled time. Before the appointment, I had used their new web site to enter an email listing the topics/issues I wanted to discuss during he appointment; I was impressed at the amount and kind of patient information recorded on this web site. Nurse Debbie, who had read my email, interviewed me first and generally prepared me for what to expect; she was very courteous and competent. Dr. McCullough was very thorough and thoughtful. He had also reviewed my email and responded to all the issues listed in it. Their new system compelled him to dictate copious notes about his examination of me; he found this distracting but I found the review useful because it gave me an good idea of what he was considered important and took a little of the mystery out of the exam. I have to confess that, while doing a little due diligence before the appointment, I found one previous patient who was unhappy with Dr. McCullough's bedside… manner. This made me a little wary initially, but I was quickly put at my ease because of Dr. McCullough's kindness, humor, warmth, interest and intelligence. He had a different take on some of my health issues which I found refreshing. All in all, my first appointment was a good experience and I plan to continue using Dr. McCullough.

Caring, Spends needed time to discuss problems and needed medical intervention. Allows patient to make appropriate decision for their lifestyle.

I have never met a more arrogant Doctor. Apparently he believes he knows more than any other Doctor, even John Hopkins staff.

No complaints of any kind. Dr. McCullough spends more than adequate time with his patients and is quite direct and to the point. I appreciate his candor. I also appreciate that he doesn't see himself as god, but rather a physician.
