Dr. Mize has practiced dentistry for over 12 years and opened his North Raleigh office in 2005. Dr. Craig Mize moved to Raleigh with his family over 30 years ago from Abingdon, VA. He attended high school at Cardinal Gibbons and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
After graduation from dental school Dr. Mize joined the US Navy as an officer and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Naval Dental Center Paris Island, SC. He was then selected to serve as the Dental Officer aboard the USS Arctic (AOE 8) and earned a prestigious Dental Officer Surface Warfare Pin.
Dr. Mize opened his office in 2005 and has provided comprehensive dental care for both children and adults. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Raleigh/ Wake County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and the American …Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a member of the Finley YMCA, has coached both basketball and baseball there and volunteers with their We Build People fundraising campaign. Dr.Mize is happily married and has wonderful two sons.
