Dr. Craig Robert Mueller, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Mueller's for 14 yrs., if not more, now. I'm not sure he's the best Dr. I've ever had; but neither can I say any of my other long term M.D.s were any better. Even on his worst days, he's still very good. In 2014, I truly thought I might see a Doctor strike a patient, who apparently saved all her complaints for him until they were out in the waiting room (before she left, which she took a very long time to do) as she ripped him up once side and down the other, repeatedly, for what seemed to be her dissatisfaction with the wait time. This was in early 2014. Wait time were horrific, EVERYWHERE, as the ACA came on line. He maintained his cool, though I noticed a bulging vein or two. He apologized, offered her referrals to other physicians, and was much more empathetic and kind than I'd have been able to be. After she stormed out, he took about a 5 minute walk, came back, calm, ready to go. I wasn't going to see other physicians during that time,… but the ghastly and horrific coincidence off MRSA and scabies put me in the hospital several times. To a person, that I talked with, everyone in those hospitals had experienced drastically longer wait times at their Dr.'s offices that had not been necessary before the sudden, huge influx of new patients. As for his care of that potentially life-, and definitely limb-threatening skin infestation and infection, the routing of them was slow. But that was due to what HMOs like to call managed (but I call "mangled") care, which is outside even the best physician's scope of control. After following the normal course of treatment a few times for the scabies (and I knowing he was constantly barraged by the continuing inundation), I took it upon myself to prepare a proposed treatment regimen for the scabies using the CDC and Web MD websites, printing out treatments recommended for persistently resistant infestations of scabies. Many M.D.s might have taken offence at such a proposal, asking me where I go my M.D. degree. He looked it over, and said he'd submit quickly. The HMO acted quickly too, and I was in business within a week. Three weeks after that, I was finally scabies free after about 5 months of wishing there were some way to obtain a new skin. Coincidentally, the MRSA was cured about simultaneously with the scabies. The MRSA was the greatest threat, but the scabies all but made life impossible. I can only surmise that those who review Dr. Mueller as someone who won't listen are hearing responses from him they don't want to hear or can't understand. I wouldn't recommend him at all to my enemies, but to my friends? Heck yeah!

I have been seeing Dr. Mueller for more than 27 years off and on. I travel 80 miles to see him because he is a reliable Dr. If he sees something I need or a problem; he sends referrals out for me to see them. He has been a wonderful Dr. to me and I will always go to see him regardless of the travel time to get there. I thank Dr. Mueller for being there for me in times of need.

Referred to Dr. Mueller by a friend who is a happy patient. He was friendly, helpful, and listened to my concerns/issues and I felt very comfortable. Staff was also very pleasant and it was the least time I've had to wait in a Doctor's office in a while. Very glad I switched!

his doctor caused my sons death. He was released to him after having a bad bacterial pneumonia. Doctors at the hospital did not believe he would make it. He had several surgeries. The doctors at the hospital were jumping for joy. Then this pill pushing must be getting some kind of huge kick back doctor gives my son so much medication that my son's lungs couldn't handle it. He still had a collapsed lung and part of a lung missing. This man should take the medications he prescribes to others and forever go to sleep. I will forever be in pain.

Dr. Mueller is rude, crude, and incompetent. He doesn't take the time to actually listen to what the problem is. He twice misdiagnosed my problem. I'm now going to another doctor in Riverside. Run from this doctor.

first of all, he came in the room quickly without making eye contact. This was my first time with him, and i wasn't properly introduced. i was having some problems with tension in my neck, and arm and requested a referral to see an acupuncturist. he tried to push a pharmaceutical on me, and when i insisted i didn't want to take medication, he hesitated and again said "it is non habit forming". i went specifically for muscle/nerve problems, and a lump on my breast. he asked about my last pap smear and said that i needed to set up an appointment with him but in a sexual way. my boyfriend was in the room with me, and when he checked my breast, it went on a bit longer than necessary. he appeared high on something. very unprofessional, staff was very rude, and cold. awful awful experience. i never got my referral either.
