Dr. Craig H Ruetzel, MD

I decided to leave this practice at 30 weeks pregnant. I was told I would need the TDap shot, I declined, where I was asked why for my reasoning and then the conversation continued with multiple more “no I don’t feel it’s safe”, etc. I felt my voice was ignored and felt I wasn’t heard at all. I felt uncomfortable, not safe, and my anxiety became overwhelming from the amount of pressure being put on me. For me and my babies health, that’s not good and I deserve to allow my voice to be heard and respected.

Time and time and time again I have waited in the waiting room for well over an hour. Today I decided to just leave. I understand things happen, but EVERY appointment? Unless you have a couple of hours to wait, I recommend finding someone else. He definitely isn't worth the wait.

would NOT recommend for GYN issues. He appears to do better with Obstetrics. He misdiagnosed me. Told me I was "a mess inside and a liability". Told me I had vaginal thinning and it is normal. Told me my vaginal cuff was damaged and it is normal. Told me incorrect information about my past and insisted that the previous doctor there did my hysterectomy- but he found out he was wrong after he got up and left the exam room to look at my chart again. I most definitely will not EVER go back to see him. Everyone else I encountered in his office though were extremely nice and helpful.

Dr. Ruetzel is great! He took his time to explain what was going on and each step we could take while in labor with my son. He never made me feel rushed and listened to all my husbands and my questions. Once my son was born both he and I had complications that made us stay in the hospital for a week. Dr Ruetzel worked closely with my sons doctor to make sure we both were able to go home together. He came in multiple times to check on me even when I was his only patient in the hospital and he was not on call. I would highly recommend him! And I am very happy he was the doctor on call the night I went into labor!

Dr.Ruetzel took over my retiring doctor's practice. I am very pleased with the kindness shown me by the staff. Dr. Ruetzel made this first appointment a very positive one. He listened, questioned, and discussed treatments and options with me. A very good start!

Awesome Doctor took his time with me did rush me through as if I was on an assembly line. Explained everything to me.

Many years ago I was a patient of Dr. Devine, she was amazing, I was a young girl and the experience with her was great. She set the Bar high and I hadn't found anyone comparable until I met Dr. Ruetzel. He listens, talks, spends time and now he isn't practicing at Atlantic OBGYN.....Where did he go? Anyone?

He is the best doctor around...I have followed him from practice to practice!! I trust him to no end!

Dr. Ruetzel spent considerable time talking to me and making sure I understood the diagnosis and the treatment. I felt very comfortable with him.
