Dr. Craig Sean Saffer, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Saffer for over 15 years and through 2 very difficult pregnancies and childbirths. He is by far the best OB/GYN I have encountered in my life with a bedside manner second to none. He is completely honest, caring, and nonjudgmental. There is a reason it is hard to get scheduled with him due to high demand to see him but I will always wait an extra couple of weeks just to make sure I see him and no one. Highly recommended for both OB and GYN.

Dr. Saffer is the kindest, least judgmental gynecologist I have ever had. He explains everything so well and is comforting while still being honest about whatever you may have going on. I feel 100% comfortable and confident that my body and health are in the best hands with him.

I had never met Dr. Staffer prior to my stay at Mary Birch to delivery my daughter. When I found out I would have a delivery doctor I had never met before, I was a little panicked, however, I truly believe that he helped me avoid needing any type of assistance like a suction or having a c-section. He coached me through one of the hardest things in my life and did an amazing job. He knew exactly what to say and I will never forget him, even though I may possibly never see him again.

Dr. Saffer accurately and efficiently treated to Emergency situations, however due to my low socioeconomic class (was on Medicaid), would not follow up with me. Fortunately a kind Female Dr. who works at the office was willing to follow up with me.

In 2011 I had an ovarian cyst, Dr Saffer was fantastic. He explained the entire surgery in a way that both my husband and myself felt comfortable. He made sure to follow up with my husband while he waited and to this day whenever I've had an ultrasound they've complimented at how "clean" it looks!! HAHA whatever that means.Then in 2012 I found out I was pregnant!! I returned to that office because of Dr.Saffer!! He's amazing, always friendly and takes time to answer any of your questions and doesn't make you feel stupid for asking them. Unfortunatley at the office you have to rotate between 6 doctors and a nurse practitioner through all your prenatal appointments and unless you have a scheduled induction or c-section there's no way to guarantee who delivers your baby. Whoever is on call that day is the one who delivers. I was very unfortunate and got stuck with Dr.Bales, who I had only ever had 1 appointment with. I think this roatating schedule makes it very impersonal and I won't be… returning to the office for future pregnancies :( If I would ever need any other "women" surgeries I would return to Dr. Saffer but my pregnancy experience wasn't the greatest and the delivery of my baby was an even worse one. :(

Dr saffer delivered by daughter. He is great. Smart and caring. Dr Goodwin is also a great dr in that office. The office staff is huge and there is t any personalized care. You are just a number to the staff. Love the dr, but nurses and office staff are horrible. I cataplexy in with an emergency and they told me to wait 6 days to see dr saffer. He wasn't out of town and they wanted me to see dr meshcat, who was Terrible and rude. Good luck finding a dr. He's great but office is so bad.

I called to make my appointment, and the staff couldn't be more rude. I'm really disappointed I will need to find another doctor. If I were Dr. Saffer I would clean house. I wonder how many people they have run off like myself.
