Craig Silverman, MD

Dr. Craig Silverman is a board-certified radiation oncologist who specializes in treating cancer patients with advanced radiation therapy techniques. He completed his medical education at Northwestern University and went on to complete his residency in diagnostic radiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital South Campus. With 48 years of dedicated experience in the field, Dr. Silverman holds certification in therapeutic radiology from the American Board of Radiology. He provides care to patients in English.

Dr. Silverman practices at UofL Hospital and sees patients at the UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center and UofL Health – Jackson Street Outpatient Center, both located in Louisville, Kentucky. He focuses on treating head and neck cancers and oral cancers, conditions that require specialized expertise and precision. His treatment approach includes radiation therapy, external beam radiation, and high dose rate radiation therapy to target cancer cells effectively while protecting healthy tissue.
