Dr. Craig Patrick Smith, MD

Dr. Smith just removed my knee hardware (on 3/25) in preparation for a total knee replacement. This is my 6th surgery by him and I must say, he is the Michelangelo of Orthopedic Surgery.....absolutely amazing with his ability, mannerisms, attention to detail and dedication. He is certainly a rare one and is GREATLY appreciated.

Dr Smith just performed my 2nd hip replacement. The 1st was 12 yrs ago. The same experienced, professional team (Diane, Annie, and Dr Smith) is still intact and performing at the highest level. I’ve had a few other surgeries for a few other things, but this is the absolute best well-oiled machine I’ve experienced. Everything is top notch. Dr Smith is phenomenal.

Doctor Craig Smith is as good as it gets if you are getting a hip replaced. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Craig Smith is my go to surgeon when it comes to my knees. I had my first total knee replacement done 9 years ago. I instantly felt like a totally new person. I knew at that time I would eventually have have my other knee replaced. I just got home today from having that surgery done. I am able to maneuver without much pain or difficulty. Dr. Smith and his staff did an awesome job and I have nothing but high praise and trust in them. I had my surgery at Summitt Medical Center and they all are a class act. If you want to go somewhere that makes you feel like a priority Summitt is your place. Yesterday was a very busy surgical day but the staff made me feel like I was their only patient. I have been to other places and usually feel like the staff is halfway out the door before they even address my needs and/ or concerns. Much gratitude to Dr Craig Smith, his staff and everyone at Summitt Medical Center.

Of the half dozen or so orthopedic doctors who have performed surgery on me Dr. Smith is by far the best by a huge margin. He has a great personality and his skill and expertise has made my recovery the best I’ve ever experienced.

Both my wife and I got our knees fixed by him and his great staff; Anne Haack and Diane. Constant care, follow-up, communication, renewing scripts. Honestly can’t ask for better than this team.
