Dr. Craig Howard Thomajan, MD

Dr. Thomajan was very rude. He doesn't like any questions or comments. When my mom walked for him I just pointed at her feet and said "See how she turns her foot in", he actually got mad and said "You don't have to point at it! I can see!" He acted like a 2 year old, "I do it myself!" If you want a doctor with the mentality of a 2 year old, he's your guy.

In Jan 2020, I used Dr. T for bone fusion surgery. Upon my first step, I knew something was painfully wrong. Dr. T was unable to diagnose the problem that existed post-surgery as "all the xrays look good". He would build new orthotics (about 6 in total) to solve the pain. Due to intense pain, I sought other help. It took 3 more doctors, 2 EMGs and several MRIs and 2 more surgeries to find out: the surgery needed to be redone, my leg's neurological system is irreparably damaged, the nerves between the toes were bound up in scar tissue, the foot’s sesamoid bones were damaged (redo surgery allowed them to heal). I’ve waited 4 years to write this review ensuring I was finished with corrective surgeries. Dr.T was a nice man to work with; however, he did not work to resolve the issue that new orthotics weren’t solving. Neither did he refer me to other doctors when he saw that something had gone wrong that he was unable to diagnose. I now walk with reduced pain and limited shoes options.

My foot had been butchered by an orthopedic surgeon ( Brotzman) and I was given a grim outlook by six surgeons who assessed the damage. Dr. Thomajon, with tremendous care, patience, researching and collaboration with peers and with his expertise and surgical skill, repaired and restored my foot beyond what other surgeons thought was possible ...several reconstructive surgeries over 3 years... highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Craig Thomajan goes over and above the call of duty: he is an extremely capable, intelligent and skillful surgeon who is surrounded by very professional and compassionate staff. He is also very knowledgeable in sports medicine and understands the needs of athletes. Dr. Thomajan explains procedures very well and takes the time to answer all the questions, no matter how basic they are. He does not take shortcuts and does what is best for the patient. I was recently operated by him for a hammertoe and could not be more satisfied with the pre- and post-operation procedures. We are very lucky to have Dr. Thomajan serving the general public and athletes in our community.
