Meet Dr. Vacek
Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Craig P. Vacek, DDS, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in 1998. He then attended the University of Nebraska, Medical Center College of Dentistry, completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002, graduating with distinction and recognition as the International College of Dentists outstanding graduating senior. Dr. Vacek entered private practice in 2002.
Dr. Vacek’s desire to learn has continued into his professional career. He participates in numerous continuing education courses each year, allowing him to explore the latest advancements in dentistry. As a clinical evaluator for the Clinician’s Report, advisory board member of the Southeast Community College Dental Assisting program, and a member of the CERECdoctors.com mentor’s group, Dr. Vacek shares his knowledge with peers and furthers his philosophy of providing technologically advanced care to increase efficiency and comfort for better patient …experiences and outcomes. Furthering the standing and reputation of dentistry is a passion, but what truly drives Dr. Vacek’s love of dentistry is the ability to directly, and positively, impact his patient’s quality of life. He appreciates the opportunity to interact with and help his patients. Each day, he manages his practice with the best interest of his patient’s firmly in mind. To this end, when you are in his office, Dr. Vacek will tirelessly strive to achieve a level of counsel, recommendation, and treatment commensurate with what he would desire for himself and his family in the same situation.
Dr. Vacek is happily married to his wife of 11 years, Kim, with whom he has five children –Joe, Abby, Kate, Maggie, and Clare. In addition to family time and the non-stop excitement of five kids, Dr. Vacek enjoys outdoor activities, including pheasant hunting, camping, and, his favorite pastime, bass fishing. The team, however, have doubts about his future as a professional bass angler. They think he should stick to dentistry!
