Dr. Cregan James Laborde, MD

Dr. Laborde was excellent as was the staff of nurses. And was very caring in talking about my colon cancer diagnosis. I have referred several people to Dr. Laborde for colonoscopy and not a one has had a bad experience.

unlike the other comments I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Laborde. I had ibs due to aneity, but before we found out I had scans ran and had a colonoscopy. Yes I did have a bill due to it being a problem and not preventative...doesn't everyone? He prescribed me medication and it worked for my problem. He is a very thurough doctor and will not stop until he finds the source of your discomfort.

After having two endoscopic procedures to determine that I have Barrett's esophagus, which requires me to take an antacid, which is available over the counter Prilosec, Dr Laborde refused to renew a prescription for this over the counter medication unless he receive a fee for a useless follow up visit. It is clear where his priorities lie, profits above patient care.

After receiving two procedures of a scope inserted into my stomach, it was determined that I have barrett's esophagus where it is imperative that I take an acid reducer to prevent further damage. Dr. Laborde refused to renew a prescription which is anover the counter drug Prilosec unless I have a follow up visit for no other reason than to put profit over patients care.

When I turned 50, my doctor referred me to Dr. Laborde for a routine preventative colonoscopy, but Dr. Laborde took it upon himself to give me a diagnostic colonoscopy that has ended up costing me almost $1,000.
