He is dismissive, rude, somewhat confrontational and unprofessional when diagnosis is questioned by another Dr.

Dr Baliog has been my rheumatologist for 2 years treating my RA. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and he listens and engages. I feel that he has taken excellent care of me.

OK, this is the 4th attempt by an old , confused IPhone user to speak of my appointment yesterday with Dr. Baliog. I have no idea where the other 3 are, IPhone Ethereal? I wish everything I had included in those that explained the length of time passed (20+ years) trying to have someone recognize what has stolen sleep, balance, thought processing, hand knuckles usage, ankle comfort, and one body side NOT mirroring the other. Dr. Baliog listened to me, made sure he understood what I was trying to share, thought a moment, and MY WORD talk about a TRUE physical checkup- anything I earlier said hurt was thoroughly checked on. I found this gentle man to fulfill every promise noted on his office stationary. The day after appointment I was told what a PLANwas happening and what my options were. I darn day, and he received results from multiple X-rays and intense bloodwork he ordered during my appointment, AND has a plan. I trust him to accomplish what he says is doable and continue… trying to keep me feeling better.

It took going thru 6 doctors to diagnose me. Dr. B. Did what none of the others could do: he diagnose and treated me and in doingcso, i am mobile again. Great doctor!

Dismissive and cold. Seemed in a bad mood. Acted as though I wasted his time while telling me he could do nothing for my pain. Put me through tests for nothing... What prompts someone to lecture and blame and treat people like they are not enough and their problems are nothing? One of the worst experiences of my lifetime.

My daughter saw him in 2016 he was rude and didnt know what was wrong with her also didnt want to look into it further. She had these symptoms for years. Dr Feller in Waterville Maine diagnosed her with spinal arthritis soon after. Dr. Baliog doesnt care about his patients!

He was the best RA doc I have met, no problems what so ever, I even recommend to some co workers and they love him too.

I let the so called DOCTOR baliog play god with me for 6 months while he masked my symptoms with steroids and tromadol. When I rejected his treatment due to lack of a diagnoses he turned on me like a rabbid animal. He is very unprofessional and handles himself like someone in high school. He will mask your illness with steroids and tromadol. I have nothing that shows that I'm sick in my blood or urine but yet he still wants me to take meds that aren't good for me in the long term. I was so tired of dealing with his administrations ignorance that I dreaded the visits to his office. He also sent me over to pulmonolgy to be checked they immediately through the BIG C out on the table and told me I had a mass on my lungs that needed to be monitored I had two ct scans in a three month period and was scared to the point I was in tears everyday. Needless to say I'm here and cancer free the mass just disappeared once they had sucked the all the money they could from my insurance. Don't… believe this dr PLEASE get a second opinion!! I did and it's a much better experience with my more experienced Rhenatilogist. I have reported him to the Alabama medical board and his superiors. Hopefully his nasty attitude will catch up with him.
