Dr. Cristina B. Bartis, MD

Saw her for steroid injections. She is just very cold. Doesn’t explain anything and if you ask too many questions, it’s like she is bothered. Her office staff if horrible. Never EVER return phone calls. I told her that I couldn’t get through on the phone and she shrugged it off like it was the norm. Will not return to her.

My name is Henry Williams and I have been seeing Dr. Bartis for over years for back pain. I had three back surgeries before I meet Dr. Cristina Bartis and the Dr. still had me on HYDROCO/ACETAM 7.5MG AND TRAMDOL. I started to see Dr. Bartis and now I take no pain pills. I thank God for her she is the best pain Dr. in Taxes. Since July i have not been able to reach her. Henry Williams

Dr. Bartis, has been excellent with me throughout my entire pain management process. Unfortunately I have moved to Dr. Kirkland, who does not do paper work and believes based on my pain levels and the medication I am taking until I am scheduled for the injection, I can go to work. He stated I was a new patient and he didn't know me. I thought he was going to pick up my care where she left off. Since I am a stranger to him, I need to find another pain management clinic to attend. I wish I could go with Dr. Bartis. She at least had empathy for my pain. She actually cared about me. We tried quite a few things before the injection. But that was my only relief. Sad to see her go.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Bartis. She has performed two epidural steroid injections in my lower back. Not only did it not hurt much, I received great relief from the injections.

I've been a patient for two years. Dr. Bartis has done an excellent job controlling my pain. There is very little wait time. The staff is courteous.

After 11 years of pain management after spinal fusion from T-2 to Sacrum, just one visit to Dr Bartis and she recommended meds for nerve pain. For the first time since my 2006 surgery my pain has dropped to level 2.

I transferred from another Pain Management Co & I can say that Dr Bartis and the office is much more professional and thorough than my previous exp. I came to Dr Bartis by a recommendation and in turn I would recommend her to anyone who needs pain care.

Initially my opinion of Dr Bartis was a rave review. I followed her recommendations to do physical therapy and then back injections for my most pressing pain which was my lower back. I did mention that my upper shoulder blade ached me as well. but the lower was my main priority at the time. However, after the injections which cost in the thousands$$$ and the location of the procedure in the hundreds of thousands; I started to have more sever pain in the upper shoulder blade. I re-visited Dr. Bartis and all she could say was is that I needed to visit a Chiropractor, gave me an injection to help ease the pain (I guess) and refer me to physical therapy. Well I advised her when I first visited her that I had already seen a Chiropractor and another back doctor. She was my second opinion and you refer me back to the Chiropractor. Geesh....I got mixed emotions regarding this second issue, because it is the same just a different location. No I wasn't happy with the diagnosis of this one but my… paid is relieved of the initial lower back problem.
