Cristina Calfee

Cristina "Crissy" Calfee has completed Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1993, and Masters of Science in Nursing in 2008, both from Arizona State University College of Nursing . She graduated "Cum Laude", and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a third generation Native to Arizona, Cristina worked for over ten years in Neonatal intensive care units as a bedside registered nurse, and made a professional choice to expand her expertise in 2008. She brings over 25 years of nursing experience into her practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, 11 of those years have been in primary care. She serves her patients of all ages from newborn to geriatric, as a collaborator in their health goals using evidence based medical guidelines to govern and inform her practice and manage their health goals and needs. She believes that the individuals have the most profound …impact on their own health. Crissy has one amazing daughter, and one double amazing granddaughter, with whom she enjoys spending time. She lives in Gilbert, enjoys socialising with friends, movies, reading, baking, decorating, and eating cakes. She has a myriad of real life experiences that help her better serve her patients and relate to their needs and life experiences.
