Dr. Cristina Yap Chua-Lim, MD

She has seen both kids since birth. They are now 18 and 22

All 6 of our children have been patients of Dr. Chua Lim for many years. She is an excellent Doctor and I leave her office each visit with confidence that my children are receiving the best care.

My three kids are now 17, 13, and 10 and Dr. Chua-Lim has been their doctor since birth. She has always been there above and beyond with our family. It feels like she is our family. Always remembering names and office visits and our life details! She is amazing and we all trust her with our lives literally. Any recommendation she has made has been right on. Any recommendations she will make is highly respected. WE LOVE DR. CHUA-LIM!

Dr. Lim is not who I would call a compassionate physician. She was my pediatrician for over ten years, and I have had negative experiences with her that have stuck with me even ten years later.On one occassion, as I was going through puberty, she pointed at the newly forming stretch marks on my breasts, and incredulously asked my mother, "What's that?? That's not normal!" This, of course, made me feel completely insecure and abnormal even though stretch marks are perfectly natural. Retrospectively, I can't believe that my mother had to explain my stretch marks to my own doctor.On another occasion, I had a wart on my foot. Dr. Lim burnt it off with liquid nitrogen. This process did not feel pleasant to me, and I nervously grimaced a little. She asked me, "Does this hurt?" I replied, "A little." She retorded, "No, it doesn't. Don't be a crybaby."Perhaps parents and Dr. Lim don't understand how even small situations like these carry a lot of weight in a child's mind. I still… haven't forgotten them. I can't recall a single time when Dr. Lim was anything but cold and uninviting to me.I am in medical school now, and I have made it my goal to never treat my patients the way she treated me.

My son is 14 and Dr. Lim has been with us for 12 years . I'm not sure what I will do when the time comes to leave . This office is more than a Doctors office it is a place where I the Mom call for Help or a well baby check. Or at time a Mommy check just to see if I'm doing it right. I love this office and even the billing part . This Is the last stop for honest ,caring and real medical care for your children . I kid you not they have been there when no one else would pick-up the phone . All I can say is God smiled on my family the day I walked in to Dr.Lims and Dr. Toby's office and filed out the questions on the clip board. If you want a person to treat your kids this is it . If you want a corp. benifit This should be it and if you want a loly this is the place . We love our Doc's.
