Dr. Cristina Cusin, MD

I have found her to be an extremely poor doctor. I have been taking Ketamin for about 8 years which has helped with my depression. Over the years I have plateaued with Ketamain and I've asked her to increase the dosage she refuses but instead will prescribe an anti depressant. I have taken anti depressants in the past and have had horrible side effects with it. She doesn't seem to care all she says is the pharmaceutical industry is coming out with new medications, which was the same BS I heard in the 1990's. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone. She doesn't care about her paitents at all.

Dr. Cusin saved my life. I was in a study at MGH, and when the study was done she said she wanted me to be her patient. I agreed, and with her treatment plan I was able to do things I never thought I'd ever be able to do. I never lived, I only existed with a MDD, but now with proper treatment and therapy I am doing very well. She also recommended a therapist for me, and the therapist is a perfect fit. I highly recommend this Psychiatrist.

I've known Dr. Cusin for a number of years, and I think she is absolutely fantastic. Although extremely busy, she is always punctual, courteous and will spend as much time as necessary to listen to my concerns and treat every one of them with genuine compassion and care. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a lot of experience in her field. I trust her completely. Every question gets a thorough, honest answer. She always does what's best for me as an individual, treats me as an equal and encourages me to do the right things to enhance my quality of life. She gives great advice and will go out of her way to answer any question, no matter how trivial. She also has access to a lot of wonderful resources and works with some of the nicest people at MGH. I would never see another psychiatrist. I'd give her an A+
