Dr. Cristina Manta, MD

Dr. Cristina Manta is an excellent doctor very professional, kind and explains everything to clear. She take the time with her patients and keep in contact and answer all messages. She comments on labs and test in the records and calls patient to. I appreciate what she has done for me.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Manta for a few years. She is nice and takes her time with you. However, I am switching to another primary care physician as it is impossible to get a hold of her and you will wait forever to get follow up or returned calls. You cant even reach her office staff, have to leave a message with a central call center who then calls her office and leaves a message. I was referred to another doctor who works in the same office area since she had a long wait for appointment. When I called with questions about the results of my tests she refused to return my call to explain results and made me talk to the physician who ordered them. I wanted to speak directly with her but she would not speak with me since the other doctor ordered the tests. I did not want to talk with the other doctor, I wanted to speak with her since shes been my doctor. As of now I have been waiting 9 1/2 hrs for the other doc to return my call. When your primary care doctor will not talk to… you about tests that another doctor ordered it is time for a new pcp.

The first few times I saw Dr. Manta I thought she was great. After that (I know the office what short physicians) I was misdiagnosed, my questions were not thoroughly answered when I contacted her (she did not respond in a timely fashion at all, and I felt like I was left hanging. Needless to say I found a new primary care physician who diagnosed me properly, recommended an appropriate additional care provider for me, and I could not be happier or feeling any better than I am since I made the switch.
