Dr. Cristina Gheorghe Ogrin, MD

I really am glad that I met Dr. Ogrin. She is amazing and helpful. She is helping me get control of my diabetes and she laughs WITH me, and does not blame me for mistakes I may make in the journey. Love, love her and the staff. I look forward to appointments and she is up on the latest medications to help me on my path.

I was extremely blessed to have the opportunity to consult with Dr Ogrin. Her expertise in endocrinology is only surpassed by her personality. She actually cares that you understand all of your options, and caters her diagnosis to ensure all bases are covered. She explained the need for each test and also offered the alternative 6 month wait. Due to other medical factors, I explained we were undergoing IVF in a few months, and wanted all bases covered. I mentioned this as an aside, and she went on to explain her history of endocrinology as it pertains to her fertility experience in NY.She found out we travelled quite a distance, and called the lab to see if we could get in that very day. A couple of hours later, and I was getting a biopsy on a node to find out if it was cancerous.She called before 8am the next day with the results, on her off day! It was benign, and she suggested we schedule a 6 month check up for next year. Who knew a day would come when I would look forward to going… to the Dr. She is Romanian, so there is an accent, but I understood her very well. Go, no run to Dr Ogrin if you have to travel far, it is definitely worth the trip.

Dr. Ogrin is very professional and friendly. She thoroughly explains to me my thyroid problem and the treatment for it. I highly recommend her.

This doctor was wonderful. She was pleasant and easy to talk to as well as knowledgeable. She diagnosed my problem quickly and was able to prescribe medications that helped me immediately. I would recommend that anyone with thyroid issues see Dr Ogrin. She is caring and does not blame the patient for illness and problems with coping.
