Dr. Cristina Paloma Simpson, MD

The doctor did not even mention or discuss my medical history with me. She was not personable. Did not explain anything during the exam. Did not make mention of when I could expect results from my labs. And left my unsealed specimens on the counter of the exam room when she left out. Also visit was rushed. She spent about 4 minutes in the exam room.

The front desk was very nice and attentive. The nurse took good care of me as well. The examination room was small and the stirrups/footrests were covered in oven mitts (very odd). I asked if I could have a robe and nurse said they didn't use robes. The nurse just told me to unclasp my bra and leave my blouse on. She told me to take off my underwear and pants. Doctor Simpson entered and performed the pap smear and was very rough. She used the cytobrush instead of a swab without indicating first, which has caused excessive bleeding. The breast exam was conducted with my blouse and bra pushed up into my neck. Needless to say very uncomfortable. She didn't inspect the whole area of my breast and armpits. She was very dismissive, rushed, and didn't want to answer any of my questions and concerns. I would never go to her office again and would not recommend anyone else use her services. Most unprofessional gynecologist I have ever met in my 49 years.

Dr. Simpson is very professional and an expert in her field. She is bilingual and very attentive to her patients' needs, not limited to medical needs, and goes above and beyond to help. She is just awesome and excellent!

I've gone to this clinic for first and now second pregnancy, and the staff are always rude and impersonal. They have no idea what they're doing behind that counter. Every time they have seemed to have an issue with my insurance and do not call prior to the appointment to discuss the issue. They wait until I arrive, and take up more than an hour of my time. You would think them asking for your information prior an appointment is to verify and notify you of any findings. This is not just one person, this is constant with their staff. Also, once I had to wait over an hour to get my next appointment because the ladies were taking breaks and once one returned she smelled like smoke. As soon as they opened the glass door at the counter I could smell the smoke in that entire area. The Dr overall is good, but she has even offered procedures that were already conducted, meaning she's not reading my file prior my visits. I'm changing doctor and so not recommended this location for anyone!

Got appointment today at 11:30AM. Checked in the office and waited till 12:40PM and still no one calling my name. Asked the receptionist the status and she said the Dr. was in the hospital....She then blamed on whoever scheduled this appointment for me. If I did not ask them, they would let me wait forever... I would never come to this office even with other Dr...

Dr. Simpson is fine, however, the office staff is inconsiderate and unreliable.

Horrible bedside manner! I pay the extra money to have good insurance, as to not have to worry about silly questions like â??well Iâ??m not sure if insurance will cover it?!â?? My opinion is she is WAY too concerned on how she is going to get paid!!! Most of us worry about how we are going to get paid as well, but when a doctor is blinded by dollar signs $$$ (AKA GREED) I see it very difficult to provide an accurate consult and care to the patient. I gave her a 4 inâ?? Accurate Diagnosis,â?? because in light of all this she was able to confirm that we were in fact pregnant! (shocker) So I must give credit where itâ??s due! The benefit coordinator has taken more than one month and counting to return a call. Needless to say, we have moved to a new Doctor that can provide the level of care that we believe is due, as we were highly disappointed in our experience with this practice. Bottom line is I would not recommend her to anybody, and do recommend you look for other choices.… ~My two cents

I have put my life in her hands and she really came through...as my gyn, as my surgeon, and now my OB. I really trust her and feel very taken care during my appointments.

Very rough handling during pap smear and vaginal sonogram. Developed a hemorrhoid same day (never had them before, nor do I strain). Pretty sure it was from the rough handling and pressure she put on my lower abdomen. Not only that but she rushed me out of there and didn't seem happy that I was asking her so many questions.
