Summary

Crossroads Maine is an addiction treatment and behavioral health treatment center in Portland, Maine. We provide gender-responsive treatment programs that enable clients to recover from addiction in a safe, supportive environment and develop the skills and strategies necessary to support long-term recovery from substance use. Additionally, our substance abuse treatment programs and dual diagnosis treatment programs address the needs of family members to build healthy families and help everyone deal with the impact of substance use in a constructive way.A driving force behind the programs at Crossroad is our passion for helping women and men remember who they wanted to be. Substance abuse can derail lives and cause people to lose sight of who they are and where they want to go. However, at Crossroads, we are dedicated to helping our clients get that fresh start they need. They will develop the tools and skills necessary to overcome behavioral health and substance use disorders. We help our clients find their way to greater clarity and once again have purpose and goals as they move forward and pursue recovery from substance use and mental health disorders.Treatment is not one size fits all. Since men and women often face different challenges when it comes to treating substance abuse and mental health disorders, we tailor our treatment models to each individual’s needs. Often, substance use disorders and mental health disorders go hand-in-hand. It is imperative to treat these two conditions simultaneously due to their interrelated nature, which is the basis for co-occurring treatment programs, also known as dual diagnosis, for men and women. From depression and anxiety to post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health conditions, these issues can affect substance use and the ability of clients to overcome obstacles. Part of recovery involves positive thinking, self-motivation, and confidence. These all stem from addressing mental health concerns and recognizing how they affect treatment and recovery. Along with treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, we offer specialized programs, including eating disorder treatment, that address each individual's unique needs. If you are curious about whether Crossroads is the right choice for you or your loved one, check out our site for some of our success stories from others who have gone through the program. Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews

Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.

Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
