Dr. Crystal Dickerson

Dr. Dickerson's exam was thorough, and she patiently answered all questions in a clear manner. I was very satisfied with my visit.

Dr Dickerson listened to me and answered all of my concerns regarding my appointment. I never felt rushed during our time together. If she were a permanent member of the practice I would request her for future appointments.

I saw Dr Dickerson when I couldn’t be seen by my physician for a few weeks. I was a little concerned I couldn’t see my normal doctor, but all that went away when seeing with Dr. Dickerson. She was friendly, caring and knowledgeable. She also went out of her way to get my blood panel done the same day so I didn’t have to come back. She was great. Thank you.

I went to Urgent Care in Littleton a few years ago. So long ago that I can't remember why I was being seen. Obviously, nothing that required a follow-up visit there. What I do know is that I did not see Dr. Dickerson at this appointment. Imagine my shock, then, to get a text message from Dr. Crystal Dickerson this week, telling me she is prescribing a remote monitoring device "as part of your ongoing care plan". The devices, provided by Athelas, have a monthly subscription, and going to the Athelas website, I see it looks as if that the provider (in this case, AfterOurs) gets a piece of that. So, I've got to ask myself, "is this device being prescribed because it will improve my health care, or is it prescribed just so the clinic can make more money?" I have no ongoing care plan. I was there once. One time only. And never saw Crystal. I wonder how many clinics she’s associated with, and how many unsuspecting patients got this text. I called to tell the Urgent Care clinic how… inappropriate this is, and the receptionist claimed it is free, and just something they offered to their patients, in case they are interested. When I read the text, it doesn't look as simple as that. This "prescription" is very upsetting and I do believe it is a HIPAA violation as they sent my information to a third party without my consent. I care about my privacy, so I will DEFINITELY not to any clinic associated with this doctor.

My wife had major abdominal surgery in Albuquerque, NM, and Dr. Dickerson was selected by that surgical team for an after-surgery check a few days later in Durango, CO. Dr. Dickerson, with her wide knowledge of medicine, gave us more concise and helpful information in a 30-minute visit that we had attained in over a week of asking questions at Presbyterian in Albuquerque. We hope she will choose to move her practice to Durango!

Office staff was rude from the moment they answered the phone. I have never been treated so rudely by any doctor's office ever! I was trying to see if doctor was accepting new patients. Staff that answered very, very rudely snapped at me that doctor was not accepting new patients until the new year and hung up. Hung up. I was shocked. Why would anyone go to a doctor with such rude office staff?
