Dr. Newby is always so caring and compassionate. She takes the time to listen and I never feel hurried in my appointment.

Absolutely love visiting Dr. Newby. Sometimes her appointment times shift but it’s worth it to see her.

I had my first child with Dr Newby and had many issues at delivery and after which resulted in an emergency surgery and I nearly died. Dr Newby seemed unalarmed at the thought of a third pregnancy for me (first pregnancy resulted in miscarriage), something I asked her about on 5 separate occasions. After I had gotten pregnant, I realized after my initial ICU visit, she never looked at my chart again, therefore didn't remember the gravity of my situation. Now, I am pregnant again and she told me that a pregnancy is very risky. This is after telling me the diagnosis she gave me initially was wrong, then went to look at my chart, came back and confirmed that I "was right". Be your own advocate and find a doctor that at least has the decency to listen to you, rather than tell you that you are incorrect about your own health (but hopefully they actually look at your chart first).

Totally missed a sizable tumor and blamed not being able to see my ovary on my age. Her ultrasound person was more concerned than her. The ultrasound person was quietly concerned to the point that she repeated my test...she had a gut feeling that something was wrong, but not being a doctor she could say nothing. At my next appointment Dr. Newby didn't know why I was there and didn't realize that my test results were on her laptop. I do not recommend that anyone use her as their doctor.

I have recommended Dr. Newby to several friends who have gone and had the same amazing experience any new or expecting mother would want. I am on my second child with Dr. Newby and have been overally pleased with everything. During labor with my first child she would come and sit on my bed checking on me. That really did it for me, I knew I had made a good choice in choosing the right doctor for me. She has never made me feel rushed or unimportant which is a common thing to here about doctors these days. I love her and would recommend her to anyone that is expecting, or just looking for a good ob!
