Dr. Crystal Miller Proud

I am 17 and saw Dr Proud due to a spinal cord injury. She could not answer simple questions involving my paralysis that other doctors (not nueros) answered later on. Not one. She also did not know how to fill out a referral for a wheelchair that I was in desperate need of, though she is supposed to be a specialist in SCI. I waited months to see her after being released from the hospital to receive no answers. The only thing she did to help me was write referrals for other specialties since she did not know how to answer my questions. It appeared as though the only thing she could handle are headaches. Don’t bring your child to her if they have any rarer issues, she won’t know how to deal with it. Oh that’s right, she can’t deal with headaches or migraines either. I told her that I suffer from headaches and migraines nearly every other day snd asked what we could do about it, and she blatantly refused to talk to me about it. She said “well we just won’t talk about that.” I asked if she… could at least write some sort of prescription, but again, it was ignored. I’ll be glad when I turn 18 in a few months and I won’t have to see horrible pediatric doctors.
