I had an otoplasty (ear surgery) done by Dr. Magassy over a decade ago. I'm happy with the looks, but a few years after the surgery I noticed that there was something protruding from my ears. I went to his office and he removed sutures that apparently didn't dissolve. The sutures caused a lot of pain; I couldn't sleep on the side they were coming out from. Now, over a decade later, sutures continue to resurface and cause pain. It is so annoying and awful and I never expected this would be a side effect. If you ever get an otoplasty make sure you ask a lot of questions about what kind of sutures you'll get and the consequences if they start to stick out.

I had a lipo procedure on my arms 2 years ago. The uneven and pitted appearance of my arms Prevented me from wearing anything sleeveless without feeling uncomfortable and self conscious.. One arm was larger than the other and the deep pitting and scar tissue was disfiguring!! Eventually, I was able to find a skilled surgeon who has performed two surgeries over the last year to somewhat correct what he had done. It has been a grueling and painful ( not to mention costly) two years. I caution anyone to think twice before having any treatment at this office. * I must add however... his staff (especially his nurse-) were kind and helpful.

Dr.Magassy is one of the most professional physicians I have ever known. He has performed three procedures on me and from beginning to end my experience was 5 star. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!!!

Dr. Magassy has performed three surgical procedures on me and I have been amazed with the results . He operates under the "pinnacle of artistry". I have often said that any trained surgeon could remove a gall bladder, but to be a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, one has to exhibit the task of being a creative genius. Dr. Magassy is Board Certified in general surgery as well as in Plastic Surgery. Thank you for your expertise!

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Magassy. It was such a good experience. Dr. Magassy was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. His staff is top notch, and having the surgery onsite made it so easy for my ride to pick me up. If you're thinking about having a nose job, I would recommend talking to Dr. Magassy.

Dr. Magassy did a wonderful job on my neck liposuction. I'm so happy with the results that I plan on using him in the future.

I originally visited Mr. Magassys office 3 years ago for a consultation to have a breast lift and liposuction after having my daughter. I asked very specific questions about the size and how they would look afterwards. I brought in pictures and reiterated my desired size and appearance. Unfortunately, my breast were not only half the size I requested and two full sizes different...one of them was completely square and the other looked like it had wrinkles on the bottom. The scars looked liked thick rope and were completely unsightly. When I took off my surgically bra at home I cried for days. When I returned to his office a few days following he told me I just needed to give them some time to correct the "squareness & wrinkled look" and that he couldn't go any larger because of my chest wall. (I previously had larder implants which HE removed so obviously that didnt make sense) I sat in his office crying explaining to him that they were way too small and looked awful. He reassured me… that I needed to give it a few months then come back. 1 year later.....they looked exactly the same. I went back into his office and he told me that he could fix them for another $3k. WHAT?!?!? If he could do it then why didnt he do that in the first place? My liposuction also looked AWFUL!! I have dents where he inserted the needle and it looks lumpy everywhere else. This is still disgusting to look at but seemed minor compared to my breast. Thank goodness he has an amazing staff who helped me get through his head that he had clearly made a mistake. He agreed to correct the size, square breast and wrinkles. THAT WAS MY SECOND MISTAKE! After a second surgery...they are now even and larger but still somewhat square and the scars are simply a botch job. I recommend any person out there to RECONSIDER having Dr. Magassy assist you. This has been a horrific experience in my life and my body will never look the same. Not to mention his bedside manner is borderline sexual assault with the way he touches you. I am surprised he has never had assault charges brought against him for the inappropriate way he touches his patients. My advise to anybody out there is to RUN! I hate the thought of him having the opportunity to do this to another women.

I had a revision performed by Dr Magassy in 2003. His primary nose work appears to be excellent, but I was far from pleased with his revision of my tip. I should have walked away during our consultation when he refused to do an open tip rhino, claiming that it would cut off blood supply below my nose. From my own research, it is practically a necessity to cut open the nostril in order to see what you're working with! I also told him I did not want my to narrow the flare in my nostrils. I am not white, and I did not want a white person's nose. I wanted to retain some of my ethnicity. On the day of surgery, I arrived early to the office, where I was greeted by his all female surgical team. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, and there was zero problem with anesthesia. I awoke as if I'd just had a nap on a long flight. Surgery was uneventful and I went home. During my recovery, I noticed I had a lot of snot coming out of my nose. I had to blow my nose… constantly. I thought this was normal, therefore, I did not bring it to the attention of the doctor. How I wish I had! This continued for months. I also realized I could not breathe normally. I was never able to breathe normally again. I would find out years later, as I sought another revision (as the tip work was not good!), that the inside of my nose had collapsed! In fact, you can tell by the indentation on the right side of my nostril and bridge. If I spread my the bridge with my fingers, I can breathe normally. When I let go, it collapses again. So, for $7500, he left my blood supply 'intact' and instead, compromised my breathing. For another $11,000 in Beverly Hills, I was able to fix the tip but my breathing will always be messed up. I left two stars because his staff and his surgical team are nice, not to mention competent. His office manager was also pleasant to deal with. Otherwise, I would not recommend this doctor for a revision. Especially a closed tip revision.
