Dr. Cummins Lue, MD

Dr Lue has been my rheumatologist for over 5 years. I have an auto immune disease which is not easy, at best. He takes his time to explain the issues and offer his best information on how to address them. He has read all of the information and results from all Of my many drs and usually explains it all . You could not find a more caring or thorough physician than Dr. Lue. I highly recommend him to any person needing a wonderful physician in the auto immune world or arthritis world.

Dr. Lue is a very patient man and listens to what you have to say. Very professional!

He is a nice guy but after I had a life-threatening reaction to a medication, every time he saw me he wanted to put me on them. His answer to the amount of pain I have was that I needed to " learn how to dance with the pain." Needless to say, that wasn't very helpful. Like I said, nice guy but not a good doc.

Talked very fast and hard to understand and focused on issues that were not pertinent to the reason for the visit. Very throrough with testing, but didn't give much explanation to what tests and why and again focused on a topic of health that was not in my opinion related to my visit. Made me feel like I created all my problems by life choices, that I may be crazy and nothing was explained of why I may be experiencing what I was experiencing.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Lue. He didn't listen to me. He told my husband that he thought that I was a "hysterical female". I don't think he understand the cutural that I belong to since he is chinese or something. He interrupts me and he rasied his voice to me. I don't think he had respect for me as a woman, or a intelligent thinking person capable of making my own decsisions. I believe he made mistakes on my case and then tried to blamed me for it. He is hard for me to understand and he was very condesending to me. He got upset when I would research what he told me and brought back to him questions and contradictions that I found. After I started questioning him he started not speaking to me any more and started taling with my husband which he didn't have the right to do. On one occassion when I was really sick, Dr. Lue change his interruptation to a test result three different times in less than 48 hours to fit what he wanted it to fit at the moment this was the… final break of my trust his judgement. This is when Dr. Lue decided that he would no longer speak to me as the patient and only to my husband. I felt like I was in a nightmare and will never ever trust Dr. Lue and now any doctor because what he put me and my family through. It was an absolute night mare for me and my family when we were at our most vulnerable.

Dr. Cummins Lue was very informative on the condition he diagnosed me with. He was available to talk with me in length about my lifestyle and other illnesses. His staff was helpful, polite,and very quick to help me with any questions and appointments. I would recommend him to anyone I know that needs a specialist in his area.
