Dr. Curtis Eugene Bazemore, MD

I would NOT recommend Dr. Bazemore or his Group Encompass Care to Anyone. Their game is to see how much they can pad their billing by scheduling unnecessary office visits, issuing 3 month only prescriptions (for permanent medications), and then lying to you stating it is state guidelines (Guidelines are 12 Mos except for Type 2 Narcotics. You can never speak to the doctor on the phone (their "policy") and if you have a medical condition that requires you to see the doctor near immediately, they treat that visit as Urgent Care. Also, I've noticed that their staff has been changing regularly... Not a good sign. Again, I would not use this Medical Group again under any circumstances!"

I could have literally copied and pasted a previous horrible review because they are 1000% accurate. Wish I'd seen it before I went. 1.Dr. Bazemores office staff are the most unprofessional people in any industry that I have ever come across and this is consistent on each visit. You will be waiting in the office while they eat and hang out laughing and playing games on their phones in plain view. 45 mins later one of them will come take your pulse and temperature before you get to wait some more. 2. I don't understand how they haven't been fined for fraudulent billing. They will find a way to charge you directly no matter what your insurance covers. Verifying in advance how they will bill you for services makes no difference. It will be a surprise after the visit. And they will be rude and Agressive if you ask about it. And threaten collections if you disagree. 2. Dr. Bazemore is either incredibly incompetent or he really just doesn't care. I actually prefer the latter,… otherwise him getting a degree is asinine and I'd like to see his transcripts. You voice common health concerns and he will say okay, I'll get you a referral for another dr. And that is the only health care he will give you besides refilling your regular prescriptions (for 30-90 days at a time because they want to charge you as much as possible, as many times as possible) I've seen him 5 months in a row and every single time he comes into the room and checks the chart for my name. He's not even smart enough to pretend he remembers his patients. Or peek at our charts before he walks in! It's infuriating. He then stays in the room for 3-5 mins. Doing what? Taking your pulse and listening to you to breathe. That's it. If you have any other concerns or problems he will give you a referral somewhere. Which if you think is helpful, you 99% of the time do not need a refferal from your insurance so paying a doctor to refer you to another doctor is a waste of time and money. 3.The location is convinient. Their hours are not. What kind of URGENT CARE is closed Friday and weekends!? They are. 4.They've been upgrading their little operation. They've added online billing and charts, let you check in online... But. The facility is still dingy. Lighting is bad. The waiting room is uncomfortable and awkward at best. Investing in some cubicles so patients don't have to walk passed the beat up old messy desks on our way to the exam rooms would be a blessing. Getting some comfortable chairs. Closing off the check in desk for privacy. All good tips. Someone should help them with their operation. Seriously. If they are not laundering money, I don't understand how they are still in business. Skip the convinience and go anywhere else.

Easy to get appointment but its like in and out - rush rush rush.. they are all very nice but there is not much interaction or questions from the DR - he just wants to take care of what you are complaining about at the time - Still Overall its a decent place

Dr. Bazmore is an excellent Dr, who saved my life.I want to thank Dr.Bazmore again for his professionalism and care.

They constantly try to overcharge you, and accuse you of not paying previous co pays. They also bill my insurance to the tune of at least $500.00. This is for just seeing the dr, no labs, imaging, nothing! Dr. Bazemore seems either really incompetent or that he just doesn't care. You voice common health concerns and he will say okay, I'll get you a referral for another dr. And that is the only health care he will give you besides refilling your regular prescriptions. The medical assistants , are the only ones who care, are friendly and do not berate you or accuse you of owing them money. I switched Drs two months ago and is so nice to not have to dread the treatment you will receive.

It is a blessing to have found a wonderful physician, such as Curtis Bazemore, MD. His staff and he help make my doctor's visits quite pleasant. I appreciate his kind demeanor, but more importantly, his high level of experience and expertise. His explanations, coupled with his excellent bedside manner help me understand my diagnoses with confidence. His staff and he are much appreciated. Thank you very much!

THE STAFF, AND DR BAZEMORE MAKE THE HEALING START THE MOMENT YOU WALK IN THE DOOR. SUPER PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, VERY UNDERSTANDING. YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS WITHOUT BEING SCARED. ABOVE ALL YOU WILL GET ANSWERS THAT YOU WILL UNDERSTAND. NOT A STUFFED SHIRT, A REAL PEOPLE DOCTOR, AND STAFF. MORE LIKE FAMILY THAN BEING IN A PROCESSING CENTER. THUS WHILE NO ONE LIKES TO BE SICK THEY PUT YOU AT EASE AND MAKE IT FUN. FEEL THE LOVE.

By a happy accident I saw Dr. Bazemore for the first time today (I thought I was going to an Urgent Care Center). Encompass Care was able to accommodate me without a long wait. I found both the staff and Dr. Bazemore to be friendly and Dr. Bazemore was wonderful. After having severe muscle spasms in my neck and back for over a week, he treated me with a few trigger shots and within an hour my spasms were gone. I can only rate on my visit today, but I found him knowledgeable and will not hesitate to use him again.
