Dr. Curtis Russell Bryan, MD

As someone that has struggled with anxiety for years Dr. Bryan saved my life. He is a very calm, cool and collected man that tries his best to understand everything you're going through. His knowledge is far beyond my own and it definitely helps. Amazing doctor, very sad he closed his practice.

Compassionate, Knowledgeable, Kind & Trustworthy. Dr Bryan is an exceptional doctor! He'll get you back on track w/your life or your childs life. He won't force pills on you until your ready. It's a process w/him. I am extremely great full & doing great! Lol

Dr. Bryan goes out of his way to help his patients. During an urgent need recently with my son he returned my call within the hour and took care of the problem seamlessly.

I have been seeing Dr. Bryan for approximately 18 years and I must say he is by far the best doctor in this area of specialization I have ever seen. He is kind, caring and truly interested in helping me gain control over my depression and anxiety. He has switched medications for me when something is not working and he is always available to take my calls if I am experiencing any negative side effects from any medication. He researches my condition and offers positive insight about how to better my lifestyle as well. He will soon be closing his practice and I will miss him tremendously. His medical assistant is wonderful too, as she always relays my messages and is very friendly and helpful. He and his assistant will be sincerely missed by me.

THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT HE DOES NOT TAKE INSURANCE. BUT THE IDEA IS THAT HE SPENDS 15 MIN (AFTER FIRST DIAGNOSIS) AND FOLLOWS UP ON MEDS. YOU USUALLY SEE HIM ONCE A MONTH, OR TWO MONTHS, AT A FEE OF $68, AND FOR WHAT YOU ARE GETTING, THAT'S A BARGAIN. I have been seeing Dr. Bryan for probably a year now. I came to him with a history of awful depression, and now my Dad, who I loved more than life, was slowly wasting away with Alzheimer's. Dr. Bryan tried several medications; we changed some; added some - and I swear to you I was never in his office for less than 30-45 mins. He takes the time needed, and indeed is the sweetest, mild-mannered man. He was able to curtail my nightly crying sessions, and I was able to behave somewhat normally and see my Dad everyday. It's been going on a year now since I lost my Dad, and it still hurts enormously, and I continue to see Dr. Bryan. My mother is quite elderly, so we are taking that into consideration. You get what you need and he… couldn't be any nicer My Rating is 4 stars

Dr Bryan is good. His office hours are very convenient for working people and students. He has a lot of evening appts. I never have a problem getting into to see him within a few days. I don't have to wait weeks or months like other places. One draw back is that he does not file insurance claims. You pay out of pocket and submit your own paperwork. His prices are higher than what insurance companies will reimburse and so you will end up paying a bit more for his services. It might be worth it for some.
