Curtis M Bryant, MD, MPH

Dr. Curtis Bryant is a University of Florida associate professor of radiation oncology and a board-certified radiation oncologist at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. He specializes in the care of patients with prostate cancer, head and neck cancer and for patients with metastatic cancer. He received his undergraduate degree from Mary Washington University and medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also received a Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency training at the University of Florida. A burgeoning cancer researcher, he is the author of the recently published article ""Five-Year Biochemical Results, Toxicity, and Patient-Reported Quality of Life After Delivery of Dose-Escalated Image Guided Proton Therapy for Prostate Cancer,"" which has documented the efficacy and safety of proton therapy for prostate cancer in a study that included over 1,300 patients treated at the …University of Florida. He has also authored over a dozen publications in the field of radiation oncology and these articles are in respected journals including The International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology and Physics, the American Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Journal of Urology. Dr. Bryant is as part of the head and neck cancer team at the University of Florida that won the Top Team Effort Award in 2014 from the University of Florida Cancer Institute. He is a member of several professional societies including ASTRO, ASCO and FLASCO.
