I have been with this practice for years and eventually preferred Dr. Dorsch. I use to feel like he was concerned and listened. The older I get, the more health problems I have, the less I feel like I am listened to. I feel easily dismissed and not worth his time. The last couple of times I have had an appointment, I have walked out saying to myself, that was a waste of time. I have had the same issue for years without any diagnosis or help. Saw another doctor for the same problem, was diagnosed and given medication. I feel better then I have in years so I will no longer waste Dr. Dorsch's time.

When I moved to Florence in 2013, I was looking for a permanent primary care physician, and thought Dr. Curtis Dorsch was that guy. He was pleasant enough, although he spent on 7-10 minutes per appointment, never asked me about current health issues, ignored my medical history (I am high risk for colon cancer and cardiac events), and was just lazy. When I first logged into MyChart, I discovered he wrote my colonoscopy wasn't due until 2022, which was absolutely wrong! I emailed him asking what was he thinking, and he responded with notification he is terminating his services. He never explained why, but I suspect he was terrified of a malpractice suit or complaint to the Ky. Board of Med. Licensing. I think it wrong for a doctor to quit on you. He put his ego before patient care.

Dr. Dorsch is an amazing physican! Patient and compassionate, caring and considerate. Wonderful with children, my kids have seen him since birth. I also see him, his expertise is widely varied and he is knowledgable in everything we have ever needed.

Dr. Dorsch is a great doctor. He has always been helpful and thorough in helping my children and myself recover from any illnesses. He seems to always know or discern exactly what the problem is and very easily fixes it. He is professional, thorough and efficient. I highly recommend him,

Dr. Dorsch is the first doctor that I have ever liked and trusted. I have a fear of doctors but he is easy to talk to and is always willing to listen and figure out the best option for what is going on.

Dr. Dorsch took care of myself and my husband for five years and it broke our hearts to leave him. He is caring, accessible, supportive and thorough. One of the best physicians I've ever had care for me.

We love Dr. Dorsch. He never, ever makes us feel rushed. He asks questions and seems to really care. He is thoughtful and never arrogant or patronizing, as many other doctors seem to be. We've even run into Dr. Dorsch a couple of times at the store and the zoo when he was with his family, and he came over and said hi, remembered all three of our names (and we had only been to visit him twice at this at this point), and then he took a few minutes to talk. Just a nice guy, I recommend him highly.
