Dr. Curtis Raymond Lamperski, MD

Left painful and limiting leg swelling untreated for 6 months. I had to request a medication specifically, and had I not had a medical background myself, Dr. Lamperski would have left me untreated for even longer. Consistently focuses on minute details during visits rather than the chief complaint. Wanted to treat nonexistent depression instead of ADHD. Told me to try getting treated through my school and then hung up on me. Will not treat, nor refer to a specialist, for the most pressing health concerns. Instead orders thousands of dollars worth of tests that consistently come back normal. Then continues to not treat. Will not be returning to this office and regret ever becoming a patient here. If you don't want to help your patients, don't become a doctor.

Curt and his brother Brendan at Lamperski Internal Medicine are both excellent doctors with excellent bedside manner and a great deal of expertise across the board. I called for an appointment as a new patient and they could have got me in that afternoon, but my schedule didn't permit and I got an appointment next day. The only issue I have with Dr. Lamperski is the wait time is always very long...you arrive on time for an appointment but you won't see him for at least 40 minutes to an hour after your appointment time so make sure you budget that time in. He responds well to follow up phone calls but sometimes will call late into the evening at 8 or 9 o'clock.

Dr. Curtis Lamperski was very thorough and I would recommend him. My issue lies with the staff member in the back office. It was almost 1:00 P.M. and I encountered this staff member in the hall. I wanted to relay a very quick message to her outside of earshot of my mother who was the patient. She rudely said, "I'm on my lunch break and I'm heading to the rest room". When she exited the rest room, she quickly walked past me, ignoring me. I feel this was totally uncalled for. I didn't know she was on her lunch break and felt her conduct was nearly enough to change doctors. I wanted to advise Dr. Lamperski of this but he was busy and I couldn't prior to leaving.

Thorough, friendly, wise use of referrals. Can't recommend enough.
