Dr. Curtis John Perry, MD

Dr. Curtis Perry is amazing. I was unhappy that I was not aging gracefully so I have been coming to him for the past two years. I have Dysport and Restylane done and my face is smoother and my jowls look much better. . I had three pregnancies and it took a toll on my bladder so when I saw that Dr. Perry also does the ThermiVA I had decided to have it done. I must say that I was a bit skeptical and embarrassed at first but Dr. Perry was very professional and made me feel very comfortable, I followed the instructions to stay hydrated and kept up with my appointments. I am so happy that I found Dr. Perry and if I ever need anything else done, I will definitely stay with Dr. Perry. I highly recommend him. Thank you, Dr. Perry and Staff.

Hold onto your hats, folks. This is what Dr Curtis Perry did to me...I had a lower face lift and was told I would be in a twilight sleep”. What I didn’t know was that this “twilight@ entailed 0.5mg of Ativan prior to procedure. He gave me a lower FACE LIFT with NO anesthesia, NO anesthesiologist and NO IV for medications!! He told me I would be ASLEEP. I was NOT asleep. I was fully awake, petrified for 2-3 hours while he operated in my face. My eyes were wide open and my heart rate was close to 200 beats per hour because I was so afraid! The nurse was looking down at me while I looked up at her and I could see the empathy and frustration in her face because she knew I was so afraid and uninformed about the fact that Dr Perry’s “operating room” was actually a procedure room within a stand-alone office with no other resources available, like anesthesiologists (think Joan Rivers set-up). Anyway, I got through the surgery ok. On my follow-up visit, Dr Perry noticed that my left cheek… was more swollen than my right one. The swelling was temporary and would’ve resolved on its own within a week or two but when he told me, “I can inject a little bit of cortisone in your cheek and it will go down faster”, so I agreed to that. I didn’t not know that cortisone can cause a PERMANENT depression in your skin. Within 2 months, that swelling not only went down but a large portion of my natural cheek tissue sucked in and made a divot in my cheek, leaving me forever disfigured. So, his idea to fix that was to inject fat from my thigh, which was permanent. I was not informed that my cheek tissue would probably have regenerated itself over time, so now I have a fatball in my cheek - FOR LIFE because that fatball rests upon a nerve that could paralyze my mouth if someone tries to remove it. I just wanted to look normal, so I agreed to take $3000 cash from him, which was the amount of money another surgeon, who I should’ve gone to in the first place, was going to charge me to try to fix his botch. I was MORTIFIED about how my face looked and I didn’t want money, I just wanted to look normal. Well, the other surgeon couldn’t fix it completely - no surgeon can. I’m still left disfigured with a “fatball” in my cheek, 14 years later. Dr Perry actually chuckled a little bit while telling me he didn’t think the other doc could fix it. Going to him was the biggest mistake of my life and because I signed a legal document to never sue him when I took that $3,000, I can’t ever sue him or ever say my name. What I CAN do it to tell you all what happened to ME.

Told me he could do my face with little sedation if any. My friend did it and was mortified!! I chose not to use him thankfully!! My suggestion is to get another opinion or 2!!

What amazing Dr!!! A true artist!! You want a perfect experience I highly recommend him!

PLEASE look into this ENT's disciplinary actions from his Rhode Island practice. I had liposuction and breast augmentation surgery done in 2007 believing he was a board certified plastic surgeon, he was an ENT!! I sat up (!) during liposuction and yelled during breast surgery because of under-sedation. Under-sedation because he was not equipped to give the anesthesia necessary, nor was his staff trained to administer appropriate anesthesia. He said my implants would be under the muscle-but were placed on top, now after reading other complaints-he's not a board certified plastic surgeon, he can't work on muscles! My breast implants measure a 32 E! Who wants 32 E breasts?! I'm 5'6" and weigh 140 lbs. Totally esthetically incorrect-he calls himself an artist? His R.I. practice was closed for quite some time while he settled legal issues-he re-opened and has now high-tailed it to California. Rhode Island is aware of this guy-double and triple check his credentials

Had breast implants in 2002 in his RI office. My nipples were at an even height before the surgery. After surgery, I now have uneven nipples, a good 1 1/2 inch difference in height. I always have to where a bra with padding so this difference is not noticeable. I'm embarrassed and very self conscious about it.

I have been a patient since 2000. I have had liposculpture on hips and inner outer thighs. Dr. Perry then harvested the fat from these areas , and replaced the volume lost in my face with Fat Transfer. The results were AMAZING. Dr. Perry performed rhinoplasty,( hated my big fat nose) and results were great. I even had cheek implants done. I had a lot done, however, I don't look like I've had anything done. People who know me , and hadn't seen me in a few years after all the work,look at me ,especially women, and ask me why I am not aging like they are. That's one incredible compliment. If you're a women , and you want to have work done I can assure you Dr. Perry is not going to make you look like one of those overdone HOUSEWIVES from wherever, Not only is he a board certified plastic surgeon, he also graduated from the prestigious, RI School of Design. He's PLASTIC SURGEON -ARTIST!!! Go for it!

I have had several procedures done at Dr Perry's office over the last few years. I have never had any problems and all the procedures came out just the way they where suppose to. Dr Perry himself called my home the night of the procedure to make sure I was doing okay and followed up with me the next day also.
