As a plastic surgeon, the primary focus of my practice is facial cosmetic procedures. I perform more than 400 major cosmetic surgical procedures each year including facelifts and laser surgery. I also am privileged to participate in a large number of facial trauma rejuvenation procedures each year. Our practice performs all of the facial trauma surgeries in the area and we have found the Halifax Health Medical Center surgical staff to be exceptional. My approach to treating my patients is simple; I treat them all as if they were my friends and my own family. Each year I share my knowledge about facial rejuvenation with other health care professionals through speaking engagements. One of the highlights of my year is my annual trip to the Dominican Republic with my partners, where we donate our time and talents to perform cleft lip and plastic surgery on children.

STAY AWAY from this doctor. He botched my face and is so rude and arrogant when you address concerns. He will come up with every excuse in the book to make you believe you are the reason for the poor results. Please do your research on this doctor on healthgrades, ratemd, and Yelp to see over 50 horrible reviews about him. He yelled at me and left me crying. I will make it my mission to spread awareness about this awful doctor. You will regret your results like I did. Stay away. Run fast

after my facelift was messed up I didn't leave my house for 2 years...The husband could not take my depression, now I am single at 63 years old! Thank you Dr!

Dr Shalit did a brow lift and upper blepharoplasty for me. I set an appointment to see the consultant, 2 weeks later he preformed the surgery, after 2 weeks it wasn't noticeable at all that I had had a surgery. So, 5 weeks total and it was done. Every visit I had to the office was exactly at the set appointment time. The whole thing was painless and quick and it turned out perfect. Everyone involved there at the office were friendly, very attentive and professional. I never imagined it would be that easy. Cant say enough good regarding the Dr and his staff.

I am very pleased with Dr. Curtis Schalit as my cosmetic surgeon. I had a rhinoplasty procedure in 2008 & couldn't be happier with the appearance of my nose. I am very satisfied. The choice to have this surgery definitely boosted my self confidence. I still continue to go to Dr. Schalit for botox injections. He is so professional and has a great bedside manner!

Great experience! Had upper and lower eyelid surgery with laser skin resurfacing. Wonderful results, terrific experience!

Dr Schalit has given me Botox several times and does an amazing job. I love the lift that he is able to give me with my eyebrows. I hate needles, but he made it quick and painless. I would recommend anyone to go see Dr. Schalit for Botox.

Dr. Schalit surgically lifted my eyebrows. I now have a beautiful arch to my eyebrows, and don't look sad anymore. I am so happy with my result.

Dr. Schalit is a top notch oral/maxillofacial! He is highly trained and is a diamond level injector and national trainer for Allergan! He is in the top 3% of the nation for Botox/Juvederm treatments . He is not only great to his patients and staff but is an amazing person who gives back to his community in so many ways! He is truly a kind and caring individual who is loved by many!
