Dr. Curtiss Stinis, MD

I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Stinis after my previous vascular specialist at a different facility said to come back when you are ready to amputate. Thanks to the excellent care I received from Dr. Stinis I went from not being able to walk 50 feet to being able to go back to my previous life. Dr. Stinis is an excellent doctor who takes the time to explain your options and has the technical knowledge and expertise to provide options that other doctors can't even imagine. If he is your specialist you are in excellent hands as his technical expertise is matched with a kind and caring disposition that puts patients first. I cannot recommend him enough and tell everyone I know how fortunate I was that I became his patient.

Here is my experience. Went in for angiogram for blocked artery in leg. Basically I come out of a blackout thing with 4-6 people holding me to a bed and I have chest pain. Evidently they gave me something to bring me out of the anesthesia but gave me to much anaesthesia so it didn’t bring me out enough. Like a drunken blackout. So I guess I was yelling about chest pain. How’s that my fault. I didn’t administer to much drug. I didn’t cause chest pain. They did. Then I don’t know how but they must have gave me too much drug to bring me out of the state I was in because it took more cause they knocked me out too hard just my guess but eventually I started getting shaky and nervous and needed something to calm me down from that drug and they said I had an adverse affect from the anesthesia and the won’t give me any thing else. They knocked me out too hard it was not an adverse affect or I wouldn’t have been doing things in a blackout after they administered the other drug to wake me up.… After all said and done I’m all hyped up from the drug to wake me up and they refused me an Ativan to calm me down cause what they called adverse affect on anesthesia. Then called security to escort me out of the hospital. I am going to write this everywhere I can. And see what a lawyer has to say about it. Let’s see stupid people that think they are smart. Now this is mostly not dr stinis but I would think he would have the final say on the Ativan Be careful with these people. I still don’t know what caused the chest pain. They better hope it’s nothing serious. It has gone way for the most part just a little sore. They did no work up in that area so didn’t make sense. Idk

Dr Stinis is a truly amazing doctor. After seeing three vascular doctors who recommend a bypass surgery on the blocked arter in my leg. A procedure with very high risk factors. My carteologist referred me to Dr Stinis. Dr Stinus reviewed my condition and explained everything in detail including drawings of the area. He then went into detail on how he could correct the blocked artery with a less abrasive procedure by means of an angiogram. I had previousely had this done twice before with a total of six stents installed. However his knowlege and expertise was able to avoid a bypass surgery and resolve the blockage in my leg. I couldn't express just how wonderful I feel about this Doctor. He is truly a professional who really cares about his patients. He restored my quality of life and I owe him my most graitude for that. I have recommended him to my friends as well as my personal physician. Believe me his personality, care for his patients and time he spends explaining everything to you… goes without speaking. Thank you Dr Stinus you are truelyvan amazing man and doctor.

Dr. Stinis recently performed heart stent surgery on my father. Other heart doctors diagnosed that it would be fairly difficult to insert any stent into his heart. That's why one of the other doctors referred us to Dr. Stinis, one of the best in the business, if not the best in the US. The operation was a total success; my father ended up having four stents in his heart and he feels rejuvenated. Thanks, Doc!

I really appreciated the way Dr. Stinis explained the procedures he had done on my husband (6 stents) why they were necessary and what the prognosis was. He relieved us both of a tremendous amount of anxiety and returned my husband to his former athletic self - at 80 able to walk for 40 minutes daily and do weight training three times a week. Thank you Doctor to you and all your staff. I have been told that normally my husband's condition would require open heart surgery, but the stents meant that he could return home the same day and resume normal activities almost immediately.

We especially like that Dr. Stinis took the time to sit down after the stent procedure and explained everything. He even took time to draw a picture of how the stents would look if we could see them. Our family member is a 46 year old man with a heart attack and stroke history who discovered a 100% blockage in an artery and saved the patients life no doubt. WE LOVE YOU DR. STINIS !

If it was not for dr stinus We would have lost our mom 3 years ago thank you very much dr stinus for giving us back our mom & we are enjoying every minute spending time with our mom we highly recomend dr stinis

5 years ago another doctor attempted to stent my illiac arteries. It was unsuccessful. Last week Dr. Stinis successfully placed stents in each illiac arteries and one stent in my aorta. What an amazing difference in my ability to walk further than 15 feet and breathe. Thank you Dr. Stinis for helping me get my life back. Thank you for helping me overcome my fears about this surgery. Thank you for saving my life.

An excellent cardiologist who identified my heart blockage right away and fixed it with stints. Now I feel great with no more chest pain.
