She is the best!

I think she did great at first in the previous visits regarding my initial exam and pap smear. This time I feel like I came out judged for some reason. I really wanted to know my A1C and she said that could only be done yearly since techincally I only have pre-diabetes not diabetes, and due to insurance reasons I most likely would happen to pay out of pocket. If it's an insurance thing, I think it is crazy because I cannot believe one has to be diagnosis with diabetes in order to get an A1C done again. She told me why would I want to know anyways. I told her because I wanted to know if I was still at the same level or if I have gone up or down. Depending what my result would be, I wanted to see if my new current habits have been helpful or if I needed to better improve them. She said I needed to eat healthier anyways and exercising no matter the number, that that didn't matter. Last visit she had me on metaformin. After having the discussion about the A1C and metaformin , she she was… like what do you want to do. UMMM, I am so sorry I am confused, like I am not the provider here. In the end, she sounded in the beginning kinda like rude, but she was nice towards the end.

Dr. Cyncere Neal is outstanding. She studies my medical care and needs before my appointment. Very thorough explanation of next steps and always follows up with any issues after appointments and lab results.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Neal While I appreciate that she made time to see me, I left feeling unsure. During the visit, she repeatedly mentioned that she technically isn't taking new patients right now, which made me feel like I was there by mistake rather than welcomed as a patient. I wish the focus had been more on my care and less on the scheduling issue. I'm sharing this feedback so others are aware and so the office might consider how they communicate these situations in the future.
