Dr. Cynthia Milee Austin, MD

Poor follow up. Team not communicating. Declined explanations over the phone. Poor compassion. Would not recommend her to anyone.

I had seen two fertility doctors before Dr. Austin and I truly believe that had I not had Dr. Austin evaluate my 2nd round of IVF and perform my FET that I would not have gotten pregnant. She has medical skill that was incomparable to other doctors. I had two other doctors perform HSGs on me, both of which hurt, but when Dr. Austin performed my 3rd, I didn't feel a thing. Also, the ONLY time I ever tested positive from a FET was when Dr. Austin performed the transfers, and I've had many transfers and only the ones she performed were +. Coincidence? Not sure, but it is what it is. People say her bedside manner is not the best, but I didn't have an issue with it. She wasn't sweet talking me perhaps which is fine because i don't need a sweet-talker...I need a doctor that knows what they are doing! I MOST DEFINITELY would go back and see Dr. Austin if i decided to do more fertility treatments and I have already referred her to a friend.
