Dr. Cynthia Shin Beatty, MD

Saw her at children’s hospital, she was in the room for all of two minutes. My husband had to ask for the results of my daughter’s EEG, her response was short and vague. The 4 yr medical student provided more background and information than Dr. Beatty. She had no bedside manner and was in such a rush to get us out. Would not recommend

Cynthia Beatty exercises guesswork, at best, and I am research engineer at a neurodiagnostics company. Do not let this person care for your child. To worsen matters, her record-keeping practices are a complete disgrace, which will only complicate downstream care efforts.

Very oblivious. Was not helpful at all to our family. My mother had to repeat a question twice and then she answered as if she knew and avoiding eye contact. We were there for maybe 5 minutes and decided not to do anything about my sister’s illness. It was a waste of our time.

We saw Dr. Beatty at Children's Hospital twice. Both times the experience was much the same. She was very pleasant and kind but mostly unhelpful. She was unable to answer most questions and insisted she had previously answered some of the questions for me at a previous visit when in fact, she hadn't and she then advised me she couldn't now because she wasn't a radiologist. I left confused and feeling like both visits were effectively a large waste of time. I requested all the medical records from her office and sought a new neurologist.
