Dr. Cynthia Susan Cannon, MD

Dr Cannon and her staff were awful with me. I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years. They did not care about me or my situation. I have had multiple large cysts on my ovaries. they said it was normal. last ultrasound they told me I still had endometriosis (which they never told me I had). They told me my chart said I wasn't trying to conceive. I told them I had been trying for 5 years so don't know why it would say that...they said oh your right it does say trying. the nurse said the doctor wanted me to make an appointment but I told her my insurance changed and they don't accept it anymore so could the doctor talk to me over the phone? She said the doctor is very busy and does not have time to talk to patients on the phone...she acted like I was stupid for asking. I told her I was trying to find another doctor could she please talk to me. She said she would ask her tomorrow. The next day I call, another nurse talks to me and tells me the doctor has decided she can no longer… help me and I need to go to a infertility clinic for help (which insurance usually doesn't cover at all). They were so rude and uncaring on the phone. I still don't know what to do about my cysts that are 8 cm and 5 cm. Trying to find a new OBGYN that actually cares.

Every time I went for a pregnancy check-up, the staff offered, almost insisting, an Amniotic Fluid test to check for down syndrome in case I wanted an abortion. I finally told them was not on my radar AT ALL. It was as if I had to insist they stop offering this test to me. It seemed like the nurses were anxious to give this test so they could bill my insurance for more money. Cannon wanted to schedule a date to induce my labor because she was going on vacation the week I was due. I said no. She seemed perturbed by this. I went into labor the day before she was to leave on vacation. During the day I was put on petocin and not well monitored, as Cannon went home to pack. My baby was in the birth canal too long, and another doctor delivered my baby, who was blue, and who had to stay in intensive care for 10 days because of this lack of concern by Cannon. Maybe that is why she would have rather found a reason to abort my child...because it would make her more money for less time. I do not… recommend this clinic.

Dr. Cannon is amazing. She is very attentive and will address all your concerns. You will love her.

I love Dr. Cannon! I have been going to her for years. She never makes me feel russhed and is willing to answer all my questions. The only downside is, like with any doctor, by the afternoon they are running behind. Minimal wait with am appts, but can be a longer wait with an afternoon appt.

Dr. Cannon delivered my son almost 11 years ago. Throughout my pregnancy, it was extrememly easy to get an appointment. I was always seen in a timely manner. Dr. Cannon's nurse practioner discovered my cervical dysplasia. Dr. Cannon treated it immediately and I've continued for several years with no further suspiscious pap smears. I've never felt rushed through an appointment. She (and her staff) have always answered my questions and offered suggestions. She is friendly, supportive, and very professional. As far as wait time in the office...she does deliver babies and handle emergencies as they come up. If you happen to have a routine appointment in the middle of one of these, be prepared to wait or reschedule. That's just how it goes. However, this has not happened to me more than 3 times in roughly 13 years of visiting her office. I have recommended her to friends, and I will continue to do so.

As a patient I've never actually met the doctor but her nurse is extremely rude. She does not respond to my inquires in a timely fashion. I often have to make several calls to her and she does not provide appropriate answers to my questions.
