Conduct physical exams, assess health status, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, immunizations and treat pain related issues including giving injections. Diagnose and treat medical problems and develop care plans. Refer to specialists as needed. Monitor therapies and provide continuity of care. Triage patient calls and evaluates patient problems.
