very good doctor

Dr.Gauss is excellent. Takes time, is very knowlegeable, understood my problems and was the treatment was very helpful. she worked well with my primary care doctor and my family. It was a really good experience.

Dr. Gauss completely traumatized me and I’m in therapy to remedy the damage she inflicted upon me. The first time I met her she called me crazy, and not in a humorous way. Later, she told me no one would ever want me as a patient. No one should ever be treated the way she treated me. She has a horrendous bedside manner and has no business being in psychiatry, I don’t care how intellectually intelligent she is. Her emotional intelligence is very low.

Dr. Gauss was great. I and my family so appreciate all she has done to help me and us get back onto the road of life. She's excellent. She is extremely respected and beloved in her field, by all the patients, the staff and the students who follow her every day. She understood my situation when others didn't and she helped me so much. She is very kind and smart. Thank you, Dr. Gauss

Extremely insensitive. Does not care about you at all. I wish she'd retire and quit ruining people's lives.

She's a great doctor with a very difficult job working on an a large inpatient psychiatry unit with a very diverse spectrum of patients, and very busy. the patients and the nurses really appreciate and admire her. she is firm and tough with very difficult patients and that is hard but she is professional, making all the patients feel safe. She has to be firm with many drug addicts and malingerer's on the psych unit, including patients who have just come from jail or who are about to go to jail. She has the strength and guts to do that, and so some patients become very angry when she will not give them the opiates, benzodiazepines and narcotics that they want. She is a very knowledgeable and kind doctor and the patients really appreciate her. It has been hard for some of us patients to see what terrible things some patients say about her on the internet,, though not on this site. The world needs more doctors like Dr. Gauss.

Dr. Gauss really knows medicine and psychiatry well. No other doctor has explained my illness and medications so thoroughly to me. She was professional, yet down to earth. She was stellar
