Dr. Kocsis was very thorough and took the time to review all my films going back several years and also made sure I retrieved my films upon leaving! I saw Dr. Kocsis due to an abnormal mamogram. The radiologist suggested a breast surgeon because, in his opinion, I needed an excisional biopsy because of a calcification located right next to the chest wall. Needless to say I was scared to death for the week between hearing from my OB/GYN and making the appt. to see Dr. Kocsis. Upon seeing her, she eased my fears and was upset that radiologist told me what he did. I would recommend her to anyone needing a breast surgeon/general surgery. All doctors should be as thorough as her. She took lots of time and explained everything. Her opinion was I did not need biopsy and if I did she would perform a needle one vs. the excisional type. Just need to go back in 6 months for another mamo to check the calcification. She said it was probably there all the time but previous mamos did not pick it up… because they didn't have enough breast tissue in the film as this time.

i had my hernia repaired by dr. kocsis and was very pleased. she is awesome. she was even there in the recovery room with me when i woke up. i felt like she genuinely cared about my recovery. i recommend to anyone who needs a general surgery procedure.
