Dr. Cynthia Lerner, MD

Dr. Lerner was not professional. I went to see Dr. Lerner and she saw me checked in and waiting at the front desk while she was on the phone there. She was complaining to some IT personnel on the phone about the website portal while we were sitting there for more than half an hour listening to her complains. After her phone call, I finally got to see her. She was very rude and condescending. She talked about what she suggested was RIGHT, and others were wrong...It was very awkward and disturbing for a patient to experience that and went through this experience. I will NOT recommend her if you have other options.

I was slightly hesitant to go to Dr. Lerner because of the other reviews. I’m glad I decided to still go! Dr. Lerner is wonderful! She was pleasant, insightful and genuinely caring. I’m sorry I don’t remember her nurse’s name but she was equally amazing! They took their time with me and made me feel like they had no other patients.

This Doctor is very rude, and does not know how to interact with adults in a respectable manner. I would not recommend her services.

I brought my son to see Dr. Lerner after being referred to her by his pediatrician. I was bringing her to him because he had been getting hives for several months. My son was very nervous for this appointment because he knew he was going to have to get the skin test for allergies. Instead of making him feel comfortable she did the exact opposite. Told him to show her respect when asking to use the bathroom and then waving her hands around saying his rash was very bizarre. Then she pulled out a book to tell me she thinks it is not hives but instead another type of rash. The pictures were horrific and looked nothing like the pictures I had showed her my son had been getting. This scared him even more. You would think that if a doctor has been dealing with children he or she would have a better bedside manner and try to make the child feel as comfortable as possible. It took everything in me not to walk out of her office. I will never go back to her and would not recommend… bringing a child to see her.

She's a really good doctor who knows what she's talking about. However, she does make you wait for some time to see her.

I have many problems and I was sent to Dr. Lerner. She took the time to try to figure out my situation. I really appreciated that.
