My son went to urgent care because he was in incredible pain on his right side. After 4 hours waiting, he was sent to get an ultrasound. That took 2 hours to complete. 2 hours later, my son was sent home with no diagnosis and a prescription for Percocet. She didn't even find out why he was in such terrible pain. The next day, his doctor sent him to Kaiser Hollywood ER to get another ultrasound because the one done in Lancaster was so bad he couldn't read it. They immediately discovered that he had a massive hernia that required immediate surgery. Dr. Mackey was satisfied with doping him up and sending him home!!! She is a terrible doctor.

Patient had overall body aches and nausea for one day. Blotchy lip color. Had taken 2 ibuprophen, so did not present with a fever. Was prescribed an OPIOID and given a 30 day supply! This was unnecessary prescribing of an addictive medication. Upon returning home the patient took one pill. After vomiting 40 minutes later the fever began rising. Vomiting followed. An anti-nauseal was given and acetaminophen for the fever. The patient felt better and was able to sleep. The unnecessary medication was washed down the drain. This lady needs to learn to diagnose.

I saw Dr Cynthia Mackey after seeing some bumps in a place you never want to find bumps at. She walked in, made my boyfriend leave the room, made me bend over and within 2.5 second she yells, YUP HERPES. turned around and walked out of the room. i sobbed in tears when the nurse walks in, let my bf back in the room, she took my blood as i cried and as my boyfriend cried. we asked the nurse is dr mackey sure thats what it is? we are in love and extremely faithful, the nurse says verbatim "she's 99% sure... one of you guys cheated. i dont know your relationship but someone cheated. and with this information if you guys break up make sure you tell people in the future you have herpes. wear a condom." and she left the room. my boyfriend and i held each other and cried for 2 more minutes in confusion, disbelief, sadness when the nurse came back and said the dr said you need to leave and kicked us out. thats it. thats the compassion we received after hearing news that immediately threw our… world upside down. guess what, today, 5 days after my blood test and culture EVERYTHING CAME BACK NEGATIVE. the bumps were INGROWN HAIRS from shaving. i am mortified, disgusted, and appalled by this doctor and nurse johnna ingrahm. STAY FAR AWAY

She actually told me that she knows what she is talking about because she went to college for 10 years. Good for her, but she needs to go back to school and learn some compassion for her patients and improve her bedside manner. She was horrible to me while I was in Urgent Care. I would never recommend this woman to anyone!

abrupt, rude, NO INFO AT ALL TO PATIENT !!

Waited an ungodly amount of time. Was barked at. Never going to go back to Urgent Care again.

If you see this md at Kaiser Lancaster Urgent Care then you should go as fast as you can to see another md and get a second opinion. Also, please check all of your md's out through the CA Medical Board's web site.
