Dr. Cynthia Michel-Knowles, DO

Cares more about $ that her patients. Office staff is uncaring and incompetent. I was called less than 2 hours before my appointment to inform me that I needed to add Dr Knowles to my Florida Blue. I did online but it didn't show right away so I called FL Blue and they confirmed the change and gave me a ref# for the Dr to verify. Called the Dr and they still did not show it changed and said that the ref# was useless and they could do nothing. Less than 30 minutes before my appointment and all that they offered was for me to pay out of pocket or reschedule (I had to wait a month for this appointment). Despite the fact that they KNEW that I had insurance they would not just see me and deal with insurance later. They even went so far as to claim that I was previously told to add Dr Knowles to my insurance which was a lie. If the office staff is anything like Dr Knowles I believe that I dodged a bullet.

She is a very ego centered, saw her a few times always not pleasant .My last visit as im explaining the reason for my visit she told me to shut up she was busy typing on her computer.This certainly not the type of healthcare person I want to see.I will never go back to her or recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Knowles is one of my favorite doctors. She is thorough and attentive during every appointment. Also, her office staff is friendly and accommodating. I never have to wait very long for my scheduled appointment.

Office staff is is very rude. Phone constantly going to voice mail. Have to drive to office to make appointment when I asked why the phones aren't being answered was greeted with hostile attitude they are busy did I leave a message. I was in a medical crisis had to go to emergeny room blood pressure at stroke level was told to follow up with pc. This is the second time this has happen in two years. Doctor was not aware I came to the office in a crisis level had to be seen by the cardiologist while I look for another pc doctor who can assist with this issue

After my previous doctor for over 35 years retired I was hesitant about finding a new doctor. I am now a patient of Doctor Cynthia Michel-Knowles and couldn't be happier. The staff are friendly, have a sense of humor, and are very proficient in handling patients and doing the preliminaries before the doctor enters the room. Dr. Knowles does not rush the appointment, explains the tests results thoroughly, and treats me with respect and concern. I did not wait more than 15 min. Very happy.

Dr Knowles fell into my life just after a horrific experience with another doctor. She was helpful, caring, and knowledgeable.
