Dr. Cynthia M Pordon, DO

CYNTHIA AND STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN COURTEOUS. DR. PORDON IS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND ENCOURAING.

She has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced with a physician. She obviously hates her job. She asks a question and then is irritated by your answer. I believe she wants a one word response and nothing more. I was sent to a cardiologist because of a concern of my family doctor. The same condition that an Ask a Nurse advised me to go to the emergency room for because of the risk. She appears to not be concerned at all. She advised me to see the doctor that prescribed me a particular medication when I asked if it could be affecting my heart?! SHE'S A HEART SPECIALIST! Shouldn't she know that. I'm 23 years old. I see why everyone else is concerned. DO NOT see this woman. If you've made an appointment, CANCEL IT. There is someone better out there. I'm getting my test results back and going to see a different doctor.

When Dr. Gordon retired ( I loved him) he personally chose Dr. Pordon for me. I have been with Dr. Pordon for several years now and have found her very helpful and concerned about me not only as patient but as an individual. She is a no nonsense person, who wants the best for her patients. She has been stern with me when I have not followed or completed testing when I knew it should have been done. I have shed many a tear on her shoulder and she listened. I would recommend her to anyone who is seeking a cardiologist.

I have never met a Dr. like Cynthia Pordon DO, Either she is going through some personal problems (that she should keep at home) or maybe she is going to through menopause. She was angry and the most sarcastic Dr. I have ever come acrossed. She talks down to people like they are some type of moron. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy to her. I think she should go back to med school 101 and learn how to treat patients because obviously she forgot how. Maybe her years of services and age she forgot the basic on how to treat people.

I'd like to nickname this Dr. "Nurse Ratched." She was very gruff and cold. When she entered the room she angrily said "Please turn off your cell phone, now phones are allowed here", then behaved throughout the entire exam as if she had no interest in helping. I'm sure she's as knowledgable as anyone, but if you're looking for a good bedside manner try another doctor.
