Dr. Cynthia D Rivera, MD

I was lucky enough to meet with Dr. Rivera recently to discuss thyroid and Mitral Valve Prolapse issues. She acknowledged the psychological effects of both low thyroid and MVP and how they can contribute to depression, anxiety, and panic. Dr. Rivera prescribed several medications and adjusted others. She spent time explaining the medications and treatment options for both issues. I had almost given up hope that I could ever feel any better and get my life back. Now, the the help of new and adjusted medications, and referrals for various tests, I’m on the road to recovery. I can honestly say that Dr. Rivera saved my life, both physically and mentally. I can not recommend her highly enough.

I saw this doctor about 3 year ago. At a facuilty in El paso. She disclosed personal information about me to another patient by name. I know this because I was told by patient about the conversation. So If you would like a doctor that tells your confidential health information to other patients and staff than this is the doctor for you.
