Dr. Cynthia M Ronan, MD

I have been a patient of Doctor Cynthia Ronan for quite a few years. I find her to be professional, friendly, and compassionate. Her easy going manner makes my annual exam go smooth and stress free. Dr. Ronan is thorough, pleasant, and comfortable to be with. The staff are friendly and efficient. There has never been a long wait. I will continue to keep coming!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ronin for over 18 years. She is a wonderful doctor and human being. I really don't understand people leaving a negative review over office staff and not getting drive thru service. A committed doctor like her deserves respect.

Total waste of time. The staff is unwelcoming, the doctor is a harassing bully that tries to intimidate you into thinking not only are you wrong but incompetent about your own body, or thoughts for that matter. I have heard of lawsuits against this business, how they are still operating is beyond belief. I was thankful to get out in enough time and switch to another practice. A friend of mine underwent a C section Because Ronan convinced her it was necessary, which a doctor should never push because it’s up to the patient! She figured out her insurance was billed higher because of the procedure and therefore Ronan gets more $$$. It was a big mess. I left Bc of this story. It was enough for me to not want to participate with a practice that cares more about $ then the care of patients. RUN AWAY NOW.

Dr. Ronan is knowledgeable and thoughtful. She is also exact in her delivery of diagnosis, risks and recommended procedures. This is perfect for someone like me who wants to hear doctor's thoughts on the matter, not a bunch of soft talk. While very straightforward in expressing her position, Dr. Ronan is neither pushy nor judgmental. She's accepting and supportive of reasonable patients' choices. Went to her for 20 years and will stick with her in the future.

Dr. Ronan is excellent at what she does, being a strong INDEPENDENT DOCTOR... balancing daily emergencies, surgeries, child births, office visits, telephone calls, etc. She takes the time necessary for all her patients which may delay others. No one is perfect or has a perfect team as reviews indicate; however, because of her excellence, I would highly recommend Dr. Ronan to anyone.

My 5 stars are for the Dr. - herself. I see the complaints about the wait times and the staff and honestly in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a Dr. who has no corporation/associates that she's working with, a patient has to expect the wait times. I have extreme problems going out into public to begin with, but I understand that she is delivering babies so it's to be expected. Yes - she works for Griffin and I suppose she is under their umbrella, however she has an old fashioned, "one Dr. practice" - the way things used to be and it keeps the relationship very consistent and exclusive while dealing with medical matters that are very personal. The office itself is charming, beautiful, and comfortable - with lovely vintage and antique artwork and furnishings and as an artist and designer, I appreciate this non-clinical feeling of the environment. The staff is an entirely different matter though, for they are truly awful - and it aint about money. Money must be paid in full… at time of visit in ANY Dr.'s office - as adults we know this. The main staff member in charge, refuses to listen to a complete sentence on the telephone, and I have had her cut me off while attempting to relay relevant information. The other staff members just refuse to learn my name which makes me feel annoyed because I do not have an exotic or unusual name, and I am a person and a patient - and I have learned their names, which are in fact a little more exotic. They truly do come across as rude and as though they have no time or interest in getting things right. This is a shame because a Dr. as intelligent, thorough, kind, experienced, talented and at times humorous - as Dr. Ronan, SHOULD come with a staff that at least tries to be professional and courteous. Dr. Ronan is one of those physicians whose mind is sharp as tack and is 10 steps ahead of what you are about to ask - you can see that and feel that right away and if you are a very sensitive person.... you can almost HEAR it clicking!

Dr Ronan is a great Doctor. She has patience and is very knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable with her. The staff however be very rude and judgmental. However Dr Ronin is such a great doctor it’s worth putting up with them.

Dr. Ronan is such an amazing doctor. She takes the time to really build a trusting relationship with each of her patients. She recently delivered my son and has been my doctor throughout my pregnancy. She is so knowledgable, kind and humorous. I know many people complain about the wait, I too, found myself watching the clock at some appointments- BUT, SHE IS WORTH THE WAIT! I couldn't imagine having another doctor, she is one of a kind. she's truly amazing, and all of the negative reviews really make me mad. The wait can sometimes be long because she is across the street delivering life into this world!! She did an emergency C Section with my son, then went back to the office and resumed business as usual. She's like a super doctor.

I make sure I am on time for all my appointments, yet my average wait time is always 45 minutes. I understand that delays are inevitable, but EVERY SINGLE appointment? Her waiting room is always uncomfortably crowded with children running around. This is fine for young mothers but it would be nice if she had hours for gynecology appointments only. I've been going to Dr. Ronan for years - Not much of a bedside manner but that is not important to me. I don't need her to be my friend, she is a fine enough doc.
