Dr. Cynthia Ching See, MD

Dr. See has been my doctor for 2 years & I am looking to find a new doctor. I’ve never written a negative review but it needs to be said! She has been rude to me multiple times, commenting on my weight, my mental health and just in general not caring about my feelings. Doctors need to be there for their patients. She is old school and doesn’t know how to be caring and loving toward her patients. She is good at retuning emails and messages but that’s it. Staff is unprofessional as well. Please look into a different doctor. She’s made me feel bad about myself multiple times!

I've never written a negative review but I feel compelled to warn parents after our family's terrible experience with Dr. See. I too wish I could give less than 1 star. Dr. See misdiagnosed my child, over-medicated her and then refused to sign our school medical authorization form allowing our child to have her much needed medication given at school. Because Dr. See never got around to signing the form my child suffered at school and her problems got so bad we had to switch specialists and repeat unnecessary testing because Dr. See refused to return phone calls and emails to get our child's medical records. I'm pretty sure this is against the law. I cannot imagine a person so careless and cold when it comes to a child's medical needs and care. I hope any parents reading this take it seriously so your child does not have to go through what our child has. Dr. Cynthia See is negligent. Also, the office "staff" is unprofessional and hardly ever answers the phone. We waited over an hour… for every Dr. visit once we finally had our appointments.

The doctor is knowledgeable and caring. She found my daughter issue when I had taken her to another doctor who could not diagnose my 3 year old. I can agree the office staff needs to be trained or even replaced but she is great!

Dr. See is a wonderful doctor, the only reason I didn't give her the full 5 stars is because of the rude staff. My appointment was at 930 and I was the second person to arrive to the office yet 4 or 5 people went in before me. Her staff gots to go!

Wait time was consistently between one and three hours. Office staff is rude and not helpful at all. Not only do you wait in the office, but once the doctor comes in, she leaves a couple of times for up to15 minutes. Very unorganized and very dirty offices. The only reason I went to her is because she is the only pediatric gastroenterologist in the area and I live in Thousand Oaks!!! Good luck!

We had to wait 2 hours for a scheduled appointment. She was flustered, rushed and gave us panic sense that we needed to take the medication and not do any more tests. She recommended a BLACK BOX Prescription (which means there would be irreversable side-effects) for my child. She then recommended my child take a laxative 2 times a day for 3 months until the insurance approval comes in and we will take it from there. Three months of suffering? Turns out there are other meds out there for the same issues my child was having. We went for a second opinion (the best in the west) and she put my child on nexium and told me there were a few past patients that came from Dr See and she gave the same generic diagnosis. She pushes for surgery. The bottom line is she was going to give my child a black box RX that she didn't need to because there are so many other meds to choose from. She is old school and doesn't care a bit about our well being and long term quality of life. It's worth it to pay… the 180.00 to consult a qualified Pediatric GI specialist. This is your childs life Trust Your Instincts! Don't trust this Dr. She will surely have law suits if not already had some. Good luck .

best pediatric gastroenterologist. she is extremely knowledgeable and caring. she even makes visits to the hospital on weekends to check on her patients and responds to her emails at night.
