Dr. Cynthia Esguerra Teh, MD

I was looking for a new GP and Dr. Teh was highly recommended. But, things were off from the start. It took a month to get in the first time. When I got there nobody was warm or welcoming... it was just sit and fill out your forms. I got to see the doctor quickly which was awesome. She was nice and seemed smart but, her focus seemed to be on allergy testing and how often I had bowel movements. I needed to stop drinking coffee she said because I wasn't pooping enough. I'm open to new things, but I have never had my GP try to cure migraines with allergy tests and increasing the frequency of my bowel movements. Anyhow, got my prescriptions written for 90 days like my insurance requires and left feeling sort of meh. In the meantime someone was supposed to call me with some lab authorizations. That call never came. Then, when my 90 day prescription ran out I called for refills. The pharmacy said I didn't have any refills. So, I called back over to Dr. Teh's office got put on hold and nobody… ever picked up. Tried again and the not so nice person said I had to come in and see the doctor again before she would authorize refills. No way am I going to pay for an office visit every 90 days to get my simple prescriptions filled. I went back to Dr. Steckler even though she is in Henderson now. She's worth the drive.

I had my first visit with Dr. Teh three weeks ago. The waiting room is comfortable and plenty of seating. The receptionist/check out clerk are very courteous and friendly. I did not wait too long to be seen. All I can say is I love her. She spent time with me, listened to me and seemingly seemed to care. She is highly recommended.
